  1. is bloody sooo annoyed at stupid a*s shops that dont accept MC debit credit card purchases anymore... ARgghhhhhh!! Woolworths, BIG W, Dan Murphys, now ***** Smith (not) electronics

      If you have a debit MC, why not just use the cheque account. Same account essentially. Do you really need the extra 'protection' of using the 'credit' account?

      I dont have a cheque account. I only have the Credit acc, can i still hit that button if i dont have a cheque acount? I hadnt thought of that :D

      Any debit Mastercard has your savings account linked to it as a "cheque" account. This is so you can use it at places where you can only use EFTPOS, or when you want to get cashout.

      Woolworths Ltd dropped the debit MC feature due to the fact that credit transactions cost them money, which can then be passed onto the consumer.
