RIP BBS's, You will be surely missed. Reincarnated to travel the windy roads on another "Supa Fly".....
Its sad, this pic is like one of those fleeting memory snapshots, you know the ones when you see the perfect vision of something that is walking off to the distance for the final time, it turns around to look back over the shoulder, the sunlight hits it perfectly... that last glimpse of what was... then leaves forever....

RHD should be able to help, also check your pm's :)
-
For reference:
I dont think much of it either...
Blast pipes huh, like bozu styled DTMs really... I like!
-
My guessing is they haven't even made it yet, just fishing for customer demand.
-
Nice line up! :D

Yeah i actually like the "Aurion Bespoke" I just typed it in and played with it, and it looks quite sw@nky!
May i suggest get the outline cut from the Carbon film your using, or a dark grey to suit.
They do do a few "etched" vinyls, just need to find a bigger sign shop, or window glazing/tinting place. They should stock it. It usually comes in 2 or 3 opacities if thats a word??!
Rustoleum do an etched spray can... http://www.rustoleum.com/CBGProduct.asp?pid=106
Krylon too: http://www.krylon.com/products/frosted_glass_finish/
I would say Spotlight or a larger craft store should stock it or be able to order it. These are made for glass, so not sure how they would perform.
"Bespoke" font is Sleepy Hollow 3.0

or this, dark grey/carbon outline:

Very neat, love that too. Maybe "Aurion" in frosted vinyl or get a reverse "Aurion" cut from vinyl and spray frosting onto it, like a light etched look? Be good if you had a bespoke or custom name to go before it, as it is bespoke and individual... needs to be a really nice looking word too...
-
Looks freaken sweet!! Well done Steven.
Did you get the grill custom lazer cut or I remember seeing a MDF mock up, which route did you end up using. End results are very very neat.

Hey man, Im only 35 and i would live in my LS if i could (its cumfy enough!!) - i guess im 5+ years older in my mind than my body.... no wait, my body is 10+ years older than my mind.... Oh ohhh, now im confused?!!?!
-
I think it was a blatantly loaded question with endless answers.
Ive done the hypo Jap/drift thing ten+ years ago,Ive grown out of that. The ZRE Corolla is my fun and the LS430 is my cruiser. I suggest you check them out before you say too much....
Camry/Aurion/Corolla: Seriously man, who really cares as long as it brings a smile to the owners face. It about pride and fulfillment, not dyno figures.
Oh, and a lot of us were modding cars before the term "rice" was even invented or widely used, you know, BEFORE Fast and Furious.
-
I wonder if Jap leather is indeed Indian leather? The majority of the worlds "consumable" leather is now Indian of origin.... That doesnt mean its crap, the wholesale buyer can select an number of grades/finishes, and obviously, the cheaper option would be the go for almost all OS car manufacturers.
-
Love it. Still the best front lip I recon, but, I am biased
-
Well, I didnt do it, but some landscaper managed to coat my LS430 in retainer wall dust when cutting them dry while i was having a massage.... Not impressed. <_<
-
then you need to open the throttle controller and modify the switching for the switch. This is beyond a simple relay/switch combination.
Yep thats what i was thinking too.
-
^^ ah lee got in first! Neat job on white pre rear bar, the dual exhaust look great.
-
TrAxX, you are correct, the only Kakimoto systems are suitable are rated at 88dB and 89dB:
"Cannon" is a name given to the style/shape of this type of muffler.
-
The usefulness of a throttle controller has filled many many pages here before, most posts by people that have never used or purchased one.. No need to start another. I just wanted to nip it in the bud.
-
What's your throttle controller do that your foot pedal can't?
Dont start this cr@p again or ill delete your reply instantly. If you cant help dont reply.
-
Thats 89dB with the stock exhaust system in place. If you remove the "torpedo" the dB will rise alot.
If you remove the big torpedo ( bottom piece):
.. and run a system with just a small resonator, like this:
The sound will be much louder, much higher than 89dB.
-
Simply stunning. 'Nuff said.

Thats correct, I have checked both and none have Auris exhaust on their site at the moment.
Just email either of them, and request the Kakimoto exhaust, quote the part number i listed above and they will get it in for you.
Also, another member here "Speed Chaser" is another European member, i think he also has a few contacts in Europe that can order in Japanese products. Perhaps give him pm and see what he can do.

We like to use a few "brokers" here in Australia to source our parts. One "shop" that will be able to find Kakimoto axle backs for you is RHDJapan.com They are very helpful, just send them an email and see if they can supply it for you. Also Nengun.com is another place that will source product for you.
