UPDATE: Made up a cai for the car using the existing pipe that comes off the turbo. Added a striaght joiner for the turbo end and a 90 Degree reducing silicone elbow for the other end. Pod sits nicely inside the guard just behind the fog light. Flutters like mad now as it doesnt have the standard plumb back bov on it. Well add a youtube video up soon of what it sounds like!!

at least they agreed to paint them again free of charge! I'd like to know how those panel shop guys fix that hail damage. yours wasnt too bad, but the dude i live with, his car is stuffed!

What a fantastic day it turned out to be! Megan and I had such a great time meeting you all. Those roads were just awesome! I haven't done something like that in a long time!! Good choice Tash! ;) Next time i'll bring out the rexy and give you all a run for your money hahaha!! JK! well thats not too bad then. if its ecu problems i'd try and get a power fc or something a long those lines. Turbo related issues.....well lets just hope this one will alst a bit longer :P

Thanks again guys! Karllos: Havent had any issues yet and i hope we dont come across any, lol! The car has done 150xxxkms and my missus is the 2nd owner. Couple before us had since brand new and the husband used to work at toyota. So majority of services has been done at toyota. Have you had some issues with yours? I hear parts are hard to get and expensive maybe, depending on what the problems are. She doesn't want to do much with the car. I just suggested 2.5" cat back (getting done tomorrow :D), a good cold air intake, lowered, and rims. Ive seen soulsearchers car and that was the first thing i noticed, the rims hehehe! Im so happy with mine as they are 100% suited to my rex!

Thanks guys! Just did some work on the car today. Installed an apexi boost gauge, just like the one in my rex! Woooo! 8psi!! :P Bit different to the 16psi in the rex! Also took the bottom grill out so you can see more of the cooler. Looks more aggressive like this i think :) Getting 2.5" cat back exhaust next Thursday. Can't wait!! :D Hears a couple more pics!

Hey everyone! Im relatively new to the site and Corollas as such. Girlfriend picked up her Corolla Sportivo just before christmas last year. We are happy to own such a rare car and the performance is fantastic for a little 1.8 :) Here is a couple of pics of the car.

.....and what was the outcome of doing that? What you end up doing and hows the sound? Reason I ask is that im thinking of doing a cat back system on my missus corolla turbo. What exhaust tip or tips did you get?

damn! that sucks! people just dont give sh*t these days! I always seem to get people hitting my car with their doors in car parks and i still park further away from anyone! Mate of mine's missus car got hit like that whilst they were still in the car. lady drove a bmw. checked her car, saw no damage so she walked off without an apology. So in return, she got her beemers door club locked, lol! karma! people just dont care!

filter cant be exposed in engine bay. like the pics above. in the front bar is legal because its out of the engine bay. if you want it in the engine bay you have to have it inside something. one of those pod covers or what ever they are. IMO, do the front bar mounted cai! ;)

Hey everyone! I'm new member to these forums :) The missus is a proud owner of no. 86 model corolla sportivo turbo. Just a couple of questions about the car..... Firstly: A cai for the rolla. Are they manufactured by any particular brand or do they have to be custom made? Seen a couple of pics where the pipe work comes off the turbo, up and then straight down with obviously a pod on the end. Secondly: Bov.... Do these corollas come out standard with a re-circ valve (dump valve)? Where can we fit one up without modifying the cooler pipe work? What type of bov's are available? Thanks guys!
