Didn't know you could get a Power FC for a corolla!..... If you can, IMO, get one!! They are theb est when it comes to tuning. Som any things you can do just to squeeze that extra KW from the wheels. I got an extra 20Kw at all fours on my subie when i got mine put in. Deffinately well worth the money!

My trick is to fill up the bucket at home. Drive up the road to the self serve thingo. Hose down ($1). Wash with bucket and Sponge. Rinse then wax, then rinse again ($3). Those brush's are going no where near my cars. This Method takes exactly the same amount of time as someone who would normally wash their car with brush and what not! I've mastered it :) Plus the car gets an ok wax everytime i wash. Of course nothing works better than a proper wax. I was going to go out and buy the Mothers electric buffer from autobarn but use the maguires stuff on it. I've seen these puppies in action and they work a treat. For $140 odd, you get mothers stuff with it and microfibre cloths etc. Takes half the time as well and less strain on your arms. Just need a spare $140 to get one :P

+1 to that! Such a perfect weekend. Not working on saturday and a perfect day to play some soccer and a perfect day on Sunday for some fun cruising :D

yeah it should be. Just that from factory they use the black sikaflex stuff like a glue/sealant and its the stickiest s**t ever!! They use it to stick on side skirt body kits and what not. Its like a silicone. We'll be right. There's enough people around to help out ;) What lights you got? Black LED's or something?

I've got some tools I'll bring for ya tash! Shouldn't be too hard to do.....Unless theres lots of sikaflex holding the lights in. Then they are a real bitch to get out I gave up on my 200sx and returned the lights I had, and now I put STI tail lights in the rex and had no problems at all.

ahh yep im with ya! SRI with pod on the end. CAI just piping from front bumper to airbox or directed at your pod. Which reminds me. I have to cut away or do something with the fog light on our rolla so the pod can breath. At the moment its block off by the fog light.

i know this is a bit off topic, but whats the diference between an SRI and a CAI?

haha Farnsworth FTW! :D Im thinking a bbq would be better suited provided weather is ok. Doesnt take much to throw a few snags on. Allow for 2 sausages and bread per person. So get around 50 snags and have a small 50c donation for each sausage... Money can go to the person who buys the snags and what not. All you need is sausages, bread, tongs and oil. Easy done. Good way to socialise too. What are others thoughts?

apart from megan and myself coming. I have another mate coming along. No car, just himself. So thats around 24 people. Book for 25 for now and see what happens closer to the date. With all these toyotas here....im beggining to think that my car (subie) will be the most powerfull ;)

yeah fair call tash! Just thought it might be good for the west siders. I might try and work a map for the next one if you want it to be over this side of the city. Have we got a meet up and depart time organised yet? Did you still want to go through kinglake on the way to diamond creek or just cut across from yarra glen?

I say we all meet in diamond creek again. Half way point for those on the west side. Cruise up to kinglake again then back down through yarra glen and out to dandenongs from there. That way we can have a bit of a drive before lunch and get to skyhigh around 1ish anyways. It takes like 15mins to get to skyhigh from thousand steps (the original start/meet). Have a meet time around 930-10 and depart at around 1030. Lunch at skyhigh and then head off to maybe emerald lake park and go from there.... What are others thoughts on this??

there is a lot of parking at skyhigh. whether or not you get the parking that has the view is a diferent story. Can get quite busy there. Worst comes to worst, there is heaps of parking arund the back. Oh and skyhigh food is really expensive :( Should be a great day anyhow. Hopefully the weather holds up for us :D

ahh no faith! it is pvc, yes. Only from where you can see, to the pod. Silicon elbow off the turbo to the rubber flex pipe. Its all safe! and its not intercooler piping. Id never make pvc piping for the intercooler! Its all secured and not in the way of anything and not just hangin off the turbo! Im not stupid :P

Update: New CAI that I made up yesterday with the help from karllos :)! Sounds the same as the last, just a little quieter! Megan didn't really like the sound of turbo spool lol. I do admit, it was very loud. With the other setup, the pipe was rubbing on the side of the radiator and was going to cause a hole.

lookin forward to another meet. The rolla will be supporting one more new mod that i managed to whip up today. PVC CAI :)
