I was talking to a new car salesman. The photos were on what appeared to be a draft brochure PDF file. At least the new Aurion should be more distinctive now, but never been a fan of US-styling (remember the first Avalon?!).
Think you can call the salesman and ask for the PDF brochure? Then upload it here?

It took you almost a year to advertise those wheels after starting this thread?????????????????
so?
So nothing really...
There were a few TOCAU Members who were interested in those wheels. They PM'ed the OP a number of times he didnt reply,
When they were telling me about it, I just said that he must have sold them already as they are pretty good wheels. :)
-
Sounds like the OP was talking to Spare Parts and not a sales rep :P

Pirelli P7 has some pretty good reviews compared to Kumho..

Kenshin - Found this online not sure how useful it will be.
Care of powder coated finishes
Powder coated surfaces require routine cleaning to remove dirt and grime. This will ensure the decorative and protective properties of the coating are retained. The frequency of such cleaning will depend on many factors but should be carried out every six months. In industrial and coastal environments, cleaning should be carried out more frequently, paying particular attention to areas not normally washed by rain. The best method of cleaning is by regular washing of the powdercoated surface with a soft cloth or sponge, using nothing harsher than normal bristle brushes with a solution of warm water and mild detergent. Surfaces should be rinsed with fresh water after cleaning to remove all residues. Do not use strong solvents such as lacquer as they will damage the coating.

Ronnyboy: So when i bring it back what should i tell them?
Pretty much what you see. Tell them the paint colour is fading and theres little chips in the paint work after a month or two..
Yes, they will have to sandblast it again....
Not sure if theres any sort of sealant you can put on the wheels after its painted.. that might also help down the track..

That car must have had a hard life
I dont think they have to give your money back, they just have to fix it...
That said how about you give the Dealers head manager a call and see if he can give your money back, or even give you a hilux as a loan car...
