congrats man, dont forget the pics :)

I had been ripped off by a dealer and a mechanic a couple of times in the past so I need someone who really knows his job and does a transparent work, is honest and possibly good with Toyota.
If your willing to spend the Extra $$$$ you can take it to a Toyota Dealer
-
Maybe try a Ford Forum, might help :)

Which Head unit is Auto me? Or are you referring to the Tom Tom Follow me ones (see attached)?
If it’s the Genuine Toyota ones that come in the Grande’s, there might be a way to adjust the touch screen sensitivity.
I’d take it to the dealer and winged since its happen again.
Also, get someone else to try it as well just to make sure it not your fingers :P
No its the Autome unit from China off ebay, similar to DJ's.
The last of the non digital ones.
Thank you.
Just a thought. Not sure how much you’re willing to spend. The other option you have is to get an aftermarket brand name DVD/GPS unit, (e.g. Kenwood Pioneer etc) and get the surrounding head unit pocket frame from Toyota so it fits perfectly to your dash.

Arent Suburu and most Ford Tauras cars AWD?
Aurion is FWD......

Take it to the dealer on the next service and get them to do a flush and replace the coolant :)

Toyota have quoted $800, while automotive locksmiths between $500 and $700 for up to two keys (including one master).
I have seen posts all over the internet that may suggest replacing the key barrel, buying a transponder key and then manually reprogramming without resetting the ECU could be the lowest cost option. Does anyone know if this technique will work without an existing master key? If it does, what technical steps are actually necessary to achieve this?
Any other useful suggestions for getting a working key made without a master (or a spare) are, of course, welcome.
You might wanna call a few more dealers and get some more quotes. 800 is a bit too much :(

i have 07 sportivo ex-rental and the ride can be harsh sometime especially driving in the highway from gold coast to brizzy, bouncy and noisy.....has anyone experience the same in theirs sportivos?
The M1 is uber bouncy on the concrete sections.
yeah thats true.......but we have a camry/aurion in thailand and the ride much better and the road over there is not the same league as here
So is the road better in Brisbane or in Thailand?
Does the car only bounce on M1?

For tints try going for Midnight Express or Octane brand........

Hmm, having done a fair bit of country driving, you see signs everywhere telling you to turn on your lights - even during the day.
Ive seen alot of those signs aswell in country areas. I guess thats because of weather conditions, extra saftey, slow coaches and caution for tired drivers coming from the opposite direction.

They wrote it off. I wasn't expecting that...
Short description over the phone from the assessor (spelling?) is that the body is twisted, and there is significant mechanical damage... along with all suspension down left side.
I guess I'm off shopping for a car... not quite what I had planned for the holidays, but it could be worse!
SH.
Congrats man, im guessing you kinda wanted it to be a write off rather then having it fixed.
Hopefully you get pretty decent money for the write off.
The main thing is you didnt get hurt in the accident.
If it was my car that was involved in an accident, id be pretty cut about it :(
