  1. my firend has been doing cars up for a couple of years and told me he seems to think i can get away with turboing my car for about $1200 so il have to have a word with him lol

If it was $1200, Most cars on the street would have Turbo :)

Once again, i dont see you getting Turbo in your car :P

  2. Welcome aboard....

In all honesty, i dont see you getting Turbo in your car..

    oh really why is that?

can it not happen? not enough room?

    what do u suggest ronny?

It can definitely be done. If done properly it may set you back 5K-15K. (Depending on what you do.)

What has been done to the car so far? How much KW does the car have now? How much KW do you want?

No Budget = No Turbo :)

  3. Where abouts in Syndey are you Fizz?

The only other thing i can suggest is go to a different dealer..

Stewart Toyota in Rockdale/Sutherland are good. Along with Terry Shields in Parramatta...

Since you spent money at the Hurstville Service Centre, they should be fixing it :)

  4. I feel for you fizzking,

Sometimes things like this do happen. That said, if this happened to my car id be fuming. lol..

When my car is being serviced i usually sit near the window and see what it being done.

The dealers have put a note on my account to not Wash the vehicle or to rotate the wheels.

I usually wash the car myself or more then likely take it to the carwash..

With the Rotations, ive been taking it to Brigestone tyre centre who rotate the wheels for free as i have purchased 4 tyres from them earlier this year....

One other thing i would do if i was in your place is to call the dealer and speak to the Service Manager, 99% of the time you will get results... Its worth a shot :)

  5. Yeh hopefully man, even if not, wouldn't cost much to replace. I bought the car 2nd hand, had it for a few months now, some small issues arising so going to my local dealership to see if they're willing to help with warranty issues, and I'd get my capped servicing with them in future if they're helpful.

Just lately, I've had a really annoying creak from the left side of the drivers seat. Really annoying as any bump or turn will set it off like a creaking door, not sure if its the rails underneath the seat or the seat springs, gonna have Toyota have a look at that too.

If the car is less then 3 years old it should still have "Bumper to Bumper, New Car Warranty" (even if you bought it second hand)

I dont think those rear vents are cheap im guessing between $70-$100.

On the other hand, if everything goes well you should be able to get the vents and Seat issues fixed for free :)

Let us know how you go.....

  6. This would explain why i saw a number of Aurions/Camry's with LED tail lights having their Rear bumpers pulled out to have the tail lights removed...

Had my 120K service done today on the Camry (took 4 hrs) , I was thinking to myself, ""why are they changing the tail lights on these cars, they are in perfect condition. Must be because the LED bulbs needs to be replaced the hard way""

  7. The Airbag wants to pop out and give you one for calling this Post "Stinkin Airbag light" :P

Could be a fault with the Airbag or might just be the sensor on its way out...

As the manual states "Take it to the Dealership"

If the Airbag does inflate, it will cost over $1000 to have it replaced.. :(
