  1. I have recently experienced the same problem that I cannot open the door from the drivers side on the inside. I just need a start. OP I'm wondering if you can tell me what tools I need and how to remove the door card to access the handle and the cable? And if anyone knows whether this issue will prevent me from passing my pinkslip? Thanks guys.
  2. I am also experiencing a similar issue atm and I'm hoping someone knows any solutions to this topic. My mums Kluger cannot adjust the temperature anymore it's just stuck on 25 degrees... Took it to Toyota and quoted 3400 to fix it which I can't believe. They described the reason being a whole new centre console is needed, meaning they intend to replace the climate control unit AND the stereo because apparently they're connected. Anyone able to shed some light?
  3. Definition of clean and simple build right here. The simplicity of the modifications done to your car make it cleanly beautiful, two thumbs up mate :) I plan to do the same thing with my one. Just gotta say I love the exhaust note of your car, it is spot on! Also if you come across another one of those grilles please let me know! Or whenever its my turn in line Haha nice car mate :)
  4. Man this is a crazy build! Much love and respect to your and your Camry :) My favourite bits are the manual conversion and the interior swap with Sportivo Maroon theme. Killing it! I was just wondering when you swapped the steering wheel, how was the process? Simple, Overly complicated? I wanted to swap the steering wheel with one that has stereo controls in it but wasn't sure if it was possible. Do the stereo controls work after the swap? Thanks bro, and mad car once again!
  5. Hey man, believe it or not I read this whole thread start to finish, page 1 to 78 during a whole day because I'm on holidays. I was exploring this thread because I had some interest in buying a pre-facelift Corolla Sportivo and just wanted to see the possibilities of modifications which could be done to this car - and wow, I think your car has gone through every single one possible. Just a few things I wanted to say; 1) First and foremost this is an awesome build, and I respect the time, effort, money and whatever else you put into this car. It's truly something man. 2) Major feels for when you smashed into the gutter. That was the one and only accident I've ever had in a car. Happened in my Camry Sportivo on a wet day when I just learned how to rev-match downshift.. The result was (according to my mum) a $12K repair bill. 3) I don't know if I missed something while reading, but where did the green transformation come from? Why bro? Completely outta left field to me haha. But beautiful car nonetheless, nice job man! Keep it up!
  6. Yeah actually it is a littlle bit hilly here in Wagga Wagga (country NSW) and I actually have one each day on the way home. I'm not sure about the last replacement, bought the car second hand from the local Toyota dealer here a couple months back.. The car was good when they sold me it, but a few little niggling problems have appeared since driving.. go figure.. Should I get the brakes looked at just at the Toyota workshop, or where would you recommend I go?
  7. Ok guess it woulda helped if i was a little more specific. I've also got a V6 Sportivo, but mine is Gen5 ana has 137K on it atm :o lol Where do you have to go to get the disks machined and about how much
  8. My steering wheel starts to shudder or shake when you apply the brakes to the car when it is going over 100km/h.. Is this expectable from a Gen 5 camry (kinda like the handbrake roll) or is this something i should get looked at? Thanks for any help :)
