they mix your paint colour by hand, comparing the paint directly to your car to get the best match possible,

while other places use a computer to calculate the mix. takes 10-15 mins... but that depends on how much paint you plan on buying + how many customers waiting in line to get a colourmatch.

dont know if they do the repairs, but they do a perfect colour match! if you wanna be sure bout the colour at least get the paint off them then give it to your repairer...

  2. gday gday...

i prefer 2 do my own spraying when i need to paint anything on the car. im not suggesting you do that, but im thinking that your repairer or whoever sprayed your car depended on someone else to match the colour. if they got the colour from a place like autobarn, who claim "colour match", but the colour is mixed based on the colour the car was sprayed in the factory and they depend on a computer to calculate the right mix. this would result in a good but not perfect match.

when your car is a couple years old already, the colour of your car changes due to factors such as sun exposure and weather etc.

the only way to get an exact colour match is when the paint guy is mixing the colour by hand, walks out to the carpark to check the mix with the colour of your car and decides whether its slightly darker/lighter, then mixes it accordingly to get the closest match possible. in my case it was pretty exact :) its where i got the colour for my eyelids & grille.

    free plug 4 them :P

no i dont work for them but a business that does a good job deservez 2 get a mention.

  3. F1's boring! yea the cars look cool and sound cool in F1 but i cant stand watching it for more than a lap. f1 is only interesting when i watch the highlights on the news but i cant sit there for hours watching cars doing laps.

    keep big brother on yay!

    as for that sexual act...

i highly doubt in a million years you would ever see ashley turkeyslappin camilla in the face at 7pm weeknights dont ya think!?!? besides it occured like 4am on saturday morning and was only viewable online - it never aired on tv, and ashley and john are kicked out of the game, so why are family first and mr beazley complaining?! if channel 10 did go and air it in the face of those who protested against it, then i would probebly agree with the complaintz! but i believe channel 10 and the production company behind BB06 did the right thing.

to keep the kids from watching, move the regular 7pm show to 11-11.30pm which is after the late night news, then go straight into Big Brother Uplate, where adults can listen to all the swearing and bad behaviour they please.

keep the show on for discerning adults only.

that way, if any kids stay up late watching ANY big brother programz, you can put that down to bad parenting! HA! kids shouldnt be up that late anyhow!

but yea if you dont like it, change the channel!

  4. yea ima send my best wishez 2 you az well disturb3d...

i live in blacktown area... really close 2 the m7 and great western & m4. always thought about what if something like that happened 2 me while i was driving along those roads, coz yea ive driven past heaps of accidents on greatwestern, that included fatalitiez *shiverz* imagining myself in that position... with my wife n kid in the car with me... fk i wouldnt know what to do.

stay strong dude - seems thingz are going your way with the police and the witness, hope insurance will be good 2 u as well.

btw which insurance company are you with? if your with AAMI and they screw you around then ima consider changing insurers

  5. yea i bought the silver tail lights and while i was in the process of installing it DIY, i realised the plugs were different and the aftermarket tail lights used cheap ***** bulbs compared to the stock tail lights.

    not happy jan...

but my local auto electrician modified the cables so now theres both types of plugs on the end... so i could still connect the stock lightz if i needed to. $30 tops... plus i had to buy the bulbs which turned out to be like a buck each.

i have a conquest, so i couldnt connect the foglights if i wanted to without buying the kit for it first.

  6. i bought my car 2nd hand... 2003 corolla conquest, only 9800 km on it for around $18000 from a private owner.

At that time, the dealerships were selling conquests for $20000+ and they had at least 15000+km on them?!

I wasnt just checking the papers, i did actually go from dealer to dealer to shop around.... yea just do your research... check the tradingpost as well as the used car dealership websites.. you can bargain with private dealers.... depends how desparate they are to sell!

  7. hmmm i think no1 mentioned about ALLIANZ.... is it really SH*T??

does anyone know how many mods can you have.. with ALLIANZ????

I heard they only insure 30+ year olds?

what the ??? you definately heard wrong mate ..

I was with allianz for about 6 months before I switched over to AAMI .. but I dont know what they allow etc ...

i tried getting an online quote from allianz not long ago.

    im 25/m/western syd... corolla conquest...

when the question of mods (engine/suspension/tyres) came up...

if you have done anything to these... they wont insure you. simple az that.

i really havent done anything serious to my car as yet, but when i do, i will be glad im not with allianz!

btw im with AAMI and they are giving me $1149 this year...last year it was around $1239 +/- .

can any1 in Western Sydney recommend a better insurance company?

  8. Gday...

I just cam across this website based in europe that sells parts for corollas that i havent seen in around sydney or elsewhere in australia.

    www.boostertuning.com

i found them when i came across www.envyperformance.com.

the model of corolla they have is only a 3 door... interesting stuff.. im sure some of their parts would fit on the hatchbacks released here in australia ?

    anyway its worth a look.
