  1. mine drifts fine on tarmanc, haven't tried it in the wet, just took some practice, my nitro has a pretty good enigine, works out the euivalent of about 500bhp in a 1000kg car, if it was real. so the power is definitly there, most drift cars or real ones are rear wheel drive liek the rx7s and sylvias and sleighties,

  2. fpr my ke 70 i had the minfold machined off and extractors put on second to that i had what are called mechanical secondarys formed in the carby, where you attach the first throttle body that opens with the accelerator to the second (exhaust activated) so that you get all of the power straight away little more fuel consumption though. i thnk i had my car up to about 120bhp with these mods and a good rear muffler, i'm pretty sure you asked on mods for a ke 70 not ideas on how to make you car faster yeah, don't listen to them carbi cars can be cool if it wasn't for a ke 70 i would still be teasing people who are into modifying

    hope that helps

  3. the inital d trueno look would be awsome but you have to spray black from th eweather stripe down, and yes not to sound anrgy but why would you paint carbon fibre, thats the pattern you want, you can get glassfibre for half the price (mine were 280), and everyone who said "i would have got white", thats why i got cf, my car at the moment is exactly how i imagine it to turn out when i first seen that black stivo in syd toyo a month b4 they were released,

i love having you guy to compqare thoughts opinions gives a good discussion and ideas for future stuff

but now comes the engine mods, the cf bonnet too in time

  4. nope its not bad just means the tuned suspension is doing its job, when ever you put stiffer springs in the first inch of those springs is meant to compress the easiest, thus the comfy ride when not driving hard then after that it is suppose to be i think approx 10 - 15 times harder to compress the rest of the spring thus no body roll thus good handling, then come strut brace and chassi support, because when the springs can't bend any more then the chassi of the car is put under pressure and that why the next purchase will be either white line or TRD strut brace ................bring on the drift

  5. lucio_libre: damn man! heheh....not entirely true.

i know a 4banger n/a that can can up and sometimes beat turbos...and i'm NOT kidding. he's got the 1/4 run slips to prove it.

    all i'm saying is....with a N/A engine...you modify it DIFFERENTLY.

cams, port and polish....we dont' have forced induction..thus we do things differently...

the VTEC controller from what i've heard can also control the VVTL-i.

    mmmkay?

i don't think vtect controllers work as the vvtli is appparently (no offence to vtec) much more intricate and complicated than vtec or mivec, as sharms said there has been so much talk about this on celica forum but not real out come as yamaha help design the engine, they are another body i would be ringing/emailing in japan and asking them what they would suggest to bring the power up

    Luke

Would be nice with another 1k of lift though
