  1. Hey guys,

Just wondering how the Sportivo springs differ to the standard non Sportivo spring?

Are they lower, significantly stiffer? How will they pair with the standard non Sportivo shock? If they're lower springs I'd imagine it wouldn't do my shock life a world of good either.

No, same spring rates and in fact a little longer, but sportivo shockers are stiffer. The Sportivo accessory springs on the other hand are lower and stiffer than the standard corolla springs

  2. Hi all...

I just bought HB3 & H11 globes which are rated at 5000K to replace the highbeam and fog lights on my Levin ZR.

I attempted to change the bulb for the highbeams but the space to get to them is really tight! Especially the one on the passenger side! And that battery connector looks mean (will I get zapped if I touch it?)

Anyways, the fog lights look easier to change but I have tried as yet. From the manual looks like you remove the fenders and the back of the fog lights should be right there.

    Just some questions tho...

    1) Is there any easier way to change the highbeam bulbs? If not...

    2) Would the Toyota Service Techies change the bulbs for me when I next take the car in for service?

    3) Would the bulbs being at 5000K cause any issues with heat/cabling etc...

I guess if it's all impossible to do, and there's a consensus that it'll damage the wiring, I could always fob 'em off on ebay.

    Cheers...

Doesn't your Levin ZR have HID Headlamps?

  3. No pics of that one, but here's a pic of my previous handy work when someone was away for a day....

As you can see I started working on the whole desk but ran out of time, but can you spot the teddy bear :toast:

    Broken link is broken :(

    Fixed :D

  5. I think dave is on to something here, might try start conversations with myself...

From experience I can tell you that it's a burden to carry.

However, I welcome anyone to challenge me to the title of the Tocau Jester. If they dare.

You're on, your schizophrenic / clownish / obscure / off topic / random days are over :P

    Fixed.

    Your move Carlo.

The fact that you have a photo of that in your hand... enough said :whistling:

  7. One of the guys in the office got a few of us this morning..... just unplugged random pieces of equipment so couldn't log in/use the telephone etc.....

    My personal fave is:

    - Get a wireless mouse, plug the receiver into someone else's machine (out of sight obviously, in the back). Leave all their stuff as is.

    - Every now and then when they aren't looking, open a random application.

    - As time passes, increase the interruptions. Move the mouse randomly while they're trying to do something. See if they notice.

    - If they're really being slow, save their work and shut the machine down right in front of them.

:toast: Champion. I am doing this tomorrow....

  8. Sorry guys, I really wanted to go to this one too and catch up with all of you.

Mario, I saw your car at Mag Wheel & Tyre in Preston; I was getting my wheels done the same day and spotted your car getting an alignment.

I have a flu, even took the day off work, been sleeping for most of it hoping I'd be in condition to come out, have a bite to eat and go for a night cruise and photoshoot :( But alas - not feeling too good right now, almost 6pm and the weather tonight was looking good too :(

Please set up another social meet very soon and I'll be sure to attend them!

Same with me some sort of stomach bug or gastro, cant hold anything down... sorry
