  1. At last I have sold my Wk Statesman (took 12 weeks but got $2000 more than best trade in offer) and within an hour I shot down to the Toyota dealer to see if a Presara I had looked at was still there. Luck was with me as it was so I purchased it. As part of the deal I paid for a 3 year extended warranty that includes full Aus wide roadside service, free loan car if they need a few days to fix the car and a host of other cover (see link below) http://www.cmitoyota.com.au/static/extended-warranty I'm interested in hearing from any members who have this warranty cover and have claimed against it, is it as good and as comprehensive as it sounds?
  2. I checked Redbook and it appears the only diff between the 2006 and 2009 Presara is a MP3 input socket and a Sub Woofer, think I will just go for the 2008 model as it is generally $3000 to $4000 cheaper than the 2009 model and would still have a few months of the 3 year warranty left
  3. Brilliant advice, if I spend another few weeks chatting on the Toyota Forum I may be in the position of knowing more than the salesman as well!
  4. Thanks for all of your assistance, very helpful and very interesting. I will check that when buying to see if the keys have been programmed, I assume that is a service that the service department offers on request and for a fee of course. John
  5. So refreshing to hear a car company that actually lets you just replace the battery, with the Holden Statesman I am currently selling to buy an Aurion you have to purchase the entire key at I think around $120, expensive and also not very 'green' of them in just chucking keys away every time they go flat
  6. NOTE: I am currently looking for a 2008 Presara in Adelaide so this is an 'uneducated question' If my wife and I both sit in the Presara with my key in my pocket and her key in her handbag (black hole)how does the Presara work out to adjust the seat and mirrors? I'm thinking maybe it has a sensor under the drivers seat and just picks up on the closest key? Also, someone mentioned that keys kept to close to the car will go flat more quickly, does anyone know how close is too close? (Mine would generally be around 6 to 8 metres away inside the house. Thanks John
  7. Thanks, for the good info, another thing I forgot to ask is how the built in GPS is updated?
  8. Hi, I thought I would join the forum as I am currently looking for a Aurion Presara and thought this would be a good place to receive some pointers on what to look for, that is of course if there any any known issues with them? I'm looking at the 2007 model and am interested if there was much improvement with the 2008 model?
