  1. One gripe I have with the car is that it has seat belt warnings even though not one is sitting in the other seats.

You ojnly have to have a small bag of groceries on the seat and beep beep beep and the alarm get seven more annoying the further I go.

Now I have all teh seat belts in even when no one is in the seats. Wish there was a button that could be pressed to turn that annoying alarm off.

So you would rather not have the alarm for when you decide to have a kid up the front to warn you that he hasn't put his seat belt on or he has taken his seat belt off?

Putting groceries on the floor may help.

  2. Not saying it's not good value for money, but if you include the "customisation" needed to fit it after the initial outlay + shipping the value may not be a good. However I'm pretty sure you wont be able to pay the same amount to get something like mine made up. The guys only charged me $65/hr + piping.

  3. Just to let you know, they are "TRD" mufflers. Yes they are definitely more expensive than your average joe exhaust place sports muffler but these are from the people that makes them for TRD. Also not sure you realise how light these mufflers are. My TRD muffler, also made by the same people weighed half of what the aftermarket toyota sports muffler before that if that.

  4. Well that cost $220 when I got it done. If I were to get it redone, I would have gotten them to put the flex pipes on it before the hanger like they should have.

Power gains, maybe very slight at the top end but there was a flat spot in the 2-2.5k rev range. Fuel economy is never affected directly, just indirectly when you want to hear a bit more noise.

ECU was fine with it. But in saying that, my ecu was weird and is fine with pretty much everything even 6psi boost with supra injectors and bigger fuel pump when it should have been running so rich that it shouldn't even be able to idle.

  5. Lol to say all pioneer has alternator whine from a couple of cases is a bit ... Have you using a new rca cable yet? Run it crudely in the car through the ski port if amp is in the boot and see if you got the whine still. Next option is to get a friend with a system that is easy to get to, and test it in his car. Make sure he doesnt have any alt whine first though. I'd say its an amp issue.
