Good stuff Cj! I'm sure u'll be very pleased...

N remember...keep the updates n pics rollin in!

  2. TRD Sports Grille, TRD front strut bar and AEM CAI, all stolen from E-Gene's ride :D

Monday my dad lectured me on modding the corolla, I got ****** off so I went out and did this.

custom mild steel cat-back system fabricated and fitted @ Glenroy Exhaust. 2.25" piping, super-cat muffler with a downward bent dual tip.

I love the look on his face now :D Priceless. I think if he bothers me again I'm going headers/extractors.

ROFL...cht cht cht...ur sucha disobedient one Mikey...

  3. What area of Melbourne are you guys located in, every time I head there, I never see anyone about, except for Stockies.

Just curious if it's bad timing, or you are only out during the week, etc.

    Scott.

It's mainly all the gangstuhs from the east-side man :D

Lolz sorry man... I beg to differ...they're all in da WeST.

Just hang around between Footsy n St Albans...its infested

Bullcrap both of you. They're all in the North!:lol::lol:

    WaTeVa man... :P

  4. no wires but depending on the version you may need sockets suited to that lamp. always try your existing sockets if they fit before you go out and order the sockets needed as they are not cheap.

you can however if your existing sockets do not screw into the lamp holes is to cut the grooves off the sockets so they are smooth and then they would fit into any holes. they would be loose so you would need to silicone them down. when you need to change a blown bulb you would need to cut the silicone to be able to replace the bulb.

    wwwic8.jpg

use your existing wires but what i am saying is if the sockets cannot screw into the designated holes then you either have to order a set of wires from toyota or modify your exisiting sockets by cutting off their grooves so they can fit into any of the holes

again i am saying what should be obvious. if there are no wires then how are you going to install them?

either use your original wires or go to toyota to buy a new set of wires.

chances of your original wires fitting 50/50 because there are different versions even if the lamp looks the same.

the first picture is missing the weathershield foam. you need that to prevent water and rattles. not sure if your original one is the same size. again if it does not fit you have to improvise or order it from toyota.

i have to buy a set of wires and sockets from toyota?? oooo noo... are they expensive?

thought its just plug and play!! like.. use the same sockets and wire from the ones i have

some are plug and play but there are different versions.

sockets for the sedan cost about $100 so i dare say that the hatch would be the same. then you need to buy bulbs or use any spare ones you got.

I think i'm the unlucky one coz mine one has panel thing in my tail light so anyone who are going to have JDM tail lights will have to do some mods on his facelifted one like mine

    Panel

    20070405136hp2.jpg

but i still made my car like this

    200704081411ab1.jpg

as i'm using the panel so the lights on the both sides of the reverse lights light on only for the brake but not the parking lights, coz there is only one contact in the inside lights' sockets

so did u mean i've to get the sockets from toyota to make them light on for the parkies as well?

Got this on me facelift stivo too...courtesy of MarioX ^_^

  6. Hey man,

Before i settled for stivo i was dead set on DC5R for 2 years straight.

S15 is the only Nissan i like out of the range but insurance on that thing was forget it...I could get a bike with the same insurance money!!

I chose the Stivo over the DC5R n VTEC loyalty because stivo offers so much more everyday livability then the DC5R and is pretty close to VTEC in its own right.

Mate, if u wanna get a sports car...u know u can't go budgety...it is inevitable! lolz

If u know ur gonna get one of those caliber cars, it can get more costly then ur existing stivo. I'm sure u know wat i mean bro.

Turbo cars are not an option for me yet...maybe later wen i'm over ^_^

If somehow it all works out better than owning the stivo, n u wanna stay with us 100% lolz then go the NA VTEC Screamer....lolz but if ur goin over to the F/I dark-side....S15 black, shadowed headlights n tails dumped with an agressive kit n boom....BATMOBILE!!! ^_^

Watever ur road...all the best man...n u better show ur new beast at our meets!!

I got it thrown in for me cause i wanted it but having it as an extra cost?

    Not worth seriously....NOT WORTH IT!

I've had the one year check n they do nothing to it, n also if u get scratches n stuff ur car still wears like any car...

Safest bet...don't pay for protection...get a car colour that doesn't show as much...lolz (its definitely not black - my car is >_<) lolz

Take a look at the "Metallic Silver thread" ^_^

  9. Hi Peepz.

Sorry bout no replies...i've been busy with Uni and saving saving n saving.

At this stage, i won't continue with this TRD CAI GB because its a lot more than i thought it would be, not $350...more realistically close to $400, and i need to save for more pertinent things.

XploShun, ur most welcome to take over the GB and all the best of luck with it guys! >_<
