I am interested in the aurion nav unit, but will it work in my ZR6 which had the 6 stacker? How much do you want for the reverse camera and gps antenna? As i want to do a full conversion from 6 stacker to satnav.

I did the rear as well, i took the rear seat out and did under there, and now the floor is fully covered. Got the results today, im am getting 57-62 DB when driving on the M7 at 100km/h (2000rpm) without the deadening it was at 70-75 DB on same road and speed and rpm. Solid improvement, the car hasn't got as much tyre roar, on gravel roads at like 90km/h im getting 70 DB depends. All is good :D

How did he change the colour of the back lights on all those buttons (eg: Parking sensor button). They are originally green and now they are blue. How did he do this?

All is good! i looked under the dash, and it is the fuse listed under "panel" it is a 7.5 amp lucky i had some spare, so now everything is working And now i got nice blue led lights illuminating my shifter.

Thanks for reply conrod, i tried a new globe but she won't light up, and i did that 180 flip and still no success. I shall have a look at all the fuses under the dash which may relate to interior lighting. I hope it is a fuse.

hi guys, i was fitting some new LED globes into my gear selector slot and as i turned the light on to check it out, everything blew in the centre console, but the door and dome lights were still working. I checked the fuse and it is still fine. What have i just done!!!??? is there another fuse for the centre console, AC and Radio lights? Or have i blown every single light globe ?

my aurion sometimes cranks and doesn't start.... i found holding down the start button helped..... must crank the engine a little loner? lol i duno but it has been good lately. My battery was changed at 40,000km

yes i have the same problem, everytime i jump into the BMW it is 100% quieter, hopefully this will work, i will let you guys know when i drive on the rough stuff.

So these are the plastics that i removed, and thats basically where i put the sound deadening. I also applied some on the pillar where the seat belt is as there are some gaps and no previous sound deadening.

Washed the car today, and the permanon is still active, washing the inner part of the wheels was effortless. All the dirt on the car just comes off so easily, and the surface is still shinny and smooth. So far 1 month into it and all is good

Nah mate this is not dynamat, i went to the bloke at supercheap and asked for some sound deadening material, and he ordered this stuff in. It is also used as like a heat shield, but also good as a sound deadener.

Hi guys, i don't know if you realise but the aurion lacks sound deadening. Most of the noise i hear is tyre roar, not engine noise. (i think the engine is very quiet) About 6 months ago i took all the wheels and fender well plastics off and applied some sound deadening material which sticks on. (rubbery type of material from supercheap auto) I had noticed a 5-10 decibel decrease in tyre road noise which was fairly good, but i still want to cut abit more of that noise out. Yesterday i pulled the carpet up on the drivers side and applied some more of this stuff to the floor. (from front of drivers seat all the way up behind the dash) I shall be doing this to all 4 corners, and share some pics. Once it is all done i will let you know what the outcome is. This very easy to do by the way, all you have to do is remove the plastic trim where the door frames are, remove some wire harness clips, and pull up the carpet. But i shall show you it all when i get some pics.

These piggy backs don't guarantee any gains. I think if you want to inprove your engine management, you are going to have to fork out some big bucks and get the real deal done.. I think i might back out of this one. Sorry Daryl, i think i have been brain washed.

But i will still give my mate a call at croydon, he may even give us his thoughts on these piggy backs, or whether they can tune up an aurion.

Ok then, i have a old mate who works at croydon express tuning center, i might give him a call and see if he can help us out with the aurion. They do some serious sh!t to cars, absolutely rediculous, hopefully he can help us out here with this ecu.

hmm righto, fair enough. If i were to take the car into a dyno tuning center, do you reckon they could tune the ecu? But i think this will be over my kinda budget.

So what is this toyota intelligent tester II ? Is it possible to get toyota to use that to readjust settings in the ecu?

Ok so this one that you linked us is actually car specific, and they have one programed for the aurion. Sweet as, i might have a look at that then and see if the is any difference. Like i said, these figures are not always that realistic, but i reckon there could be somthing in it.
