  1. DJKOR:- Just wondering about the SuperPro SPF2904K offset bushing kit, some have said after 12 months they squeak a bit? What has been your experience with them?? Thanks
  2. Normal. When the Front Brakes are cold it's the Calipers releasing when you start moving off,,,,,,.or something like that anyway. I've been assured by Toyota its perfectly normal so don't worry.
  3. Contact Toyota and make an official complaint. Any extra expenses involved then I'd keep the receipts and they can pay you back for their mistakes.
  4. They had a look and quoted me a total of $570 bucks to do it. I'm not going to bother!! The local Beaurepairs can do a 4 wheel align for $99 bucks and said they will sort it out... I'll see how I feel in a while, the tyres have done 55,000 km's now and I might as well wait until I change them in 10,000 km's or so before doing a 4 wheel alignment. Then if it still pulls left I'll think about installing camber pins etc. I think 55,000 km out of a set of tyres is pretty good? Thanks
  5. Drake:- Booked into Pedders tomorrow, $14 they will check the whole suspension/alignment and advise what they think I should do. Can I ask you what parts they put into yours? Thanks
  6. Hi, Had the Philipps DRL 5's fitted at Autobarn, I think they look good. I also has the tech install a LED in the boot and the main interior light. The boot is better than before but I really like the bright white interior light now. Might get keen and upgrade the rest of the interior lights and also the parkers too. Cheers
  7. Just rang a Fulcrum dealer/fitter in Moorabbin Vic and they quote to supply the Superpro SPF2904K parts with labour and a wheel alignment a total of $470...... Not sure if I want to spend that much..... Ahhhhhhh

  9. Hey Drake, how'd you go with Pedders? Did it fix the problem?
  10. The LED bulb upgrade to all interior lights, don't mean to appear stupid but how do I do that mod? Also I wanted to upgrade my headlights but Auto barn tech looked at my car and told me I couldn't touch the factory installed low beam HID lights.....? Cheers.
  11. Thanks. Looks good. I searched the bodykits kingdom site and found the DRL'S in the Fog Lights. It says Aurion 09 up, so I assume that they won't fit my 2008 Presara?
  12. I'd like to fit the philips DRL 5 to my Presara but would like to know what the guys that have fitted them to their cars think? Work ok? Look good? Not bright enough? Etc Thanks.
  13. Oh come on......... Somebody, anybody?
  14. Any updates on the Philips DRL's Has anyone fitted them recently? What's the latest? Thanks
  15. Well in spite of your flood of responses I've managed to fit the plug and it works well. Thanks for your help.
  16. Hi guys, I have a 2008 Aurion Presara and just need to confirm which stuff I need to run my i Phone 4S from GROM 1/ Toyota Interface Box (U3i-TOY) 2/ Data cable TOY-1 3/ i phone cable Is this the correct stuff for my car with the Sat Nav setup?? Thanks
  17. Excellent service from Frankston, Code reset and paid $27.50 in 30 mins. Kept all the memory too thank god.
  18. I asked the Toyota Frankston service rep about the pulling to the left and he didn't know anything, funny old thing! He suggested calling head office customer service and making the complaint to them.
  19. I too noticed the pull to the left when I bought the car (2008 Presara ) The dealer arranged a wheel alignment on delivery but the tech couldn't fix it. It is only a slight pull so I chose to ignore it at the time. My 85 yo Dad ( x engineer ) drove the car a while ago and the first thing he said to me was "do you know it pulls left a bit" !! It does annoy me a little and I've tested the pull on all sorts of roads. The pull is not caused by camber, I've driven completely flat roads both directions in the centre and it pulled left both ways. I'm off to Frankstone Toyota this arvo to get my Security system reset so I'll ask the head mech what gives and see what I can achieve! Cheers
  20. Im getting it reset today at a dealer for only $30 bucks. Resetting will most likely wipe all the address and phone numbers in the unit. So, do any of you know how to transfer contacts and address from an i Phone 4 connected via Bluetooth? I tried to do it 5 months ago and gave up in frustration!! Seeing as I've got to start again I may as well as you guys if there is a way. Cheers Pittsy
  21. Yes in can push the button but as with most things these days the more I use it the quicker it will fail and I assume it's not cheap to fix.
  22. I've read all 4 pages and not being a tech head can I confirm that it's now possible to buy a connector kit from Toyota for my 2008 Presara to connect my i Phone 4 to Aux? Or have I read this all wrong!
  23. Hi guys, My first post here. I've checked the FAQ section and couldn't seem to find anything so I'll post the questions here if I may. 1/ Battery flat today ( my son left the rear Map lights on all night ) so I jump stated the car ok, it then wanted a security code which i wasn't given by Melb City. So I foolishly tried a few too many codes and it's all locked up "contact dealer" My question, is there anything else I can do? I pulled the fuse to the radio for 30 minutes to see if it lost memory but no! The Dealer said they have to pull the radio and reset it from the rear and it'll take 45 mins and they cannot do it for 3 weeks! ( ill ring around others on Mon ) 2/ on the Presara we have the rear window blind, how can I remove the power or pull the plug once it's up? I want it to stay out all the time without having to do it manually after reversing. I've looked at the fuse Box but the rear blind was not obvious and it's silly to pull fuses that connect to who knows what. Thanks all. Pittsy
