After 20,000 run in on toyota oil, I switched to mobil 1, just curious to ask, has anyone found their engines burn a bit of the thinner synthetic?

My engine didn't use a drop of toyota, but has burned about 500ml of mobil 1 over 8000klm.

I have heard because it is a thinner oil that is more likley to use a little, esp if you give it some :P

I was in Briz last weekend, they seem to go from 90.something to 97.something, crazy... pulp for under $1.00, and that was at shell!

I'm thinking of doing exhaust this year & I'm after performance gains mainly, as it's about loud enough for me now.

I'm in melbourne, have a black Tivo since Aug 03, (29000km) have the rattles and notchy change etc, but still love it.
