call toyota spare parts and ask em.

sportivo you have had your gear problem fixed? now with the problem was it the same as: Hard to pull out of first and hard to put into second? cause if you have had it fixed there is some promise for all of us.

lucio_libre if you had the gear issue that 70% of us has HAVE/had, your comment about paying 30,000 and what to expect would be diff. Cause if i pay 30K I EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO CHANGE GEARS AFTER 5.5KRPM.

Get real man.. yeah maybe it is all that as u say.. but the point is you have shown a poor dyno chart with hand written vlaues no torque value etc etc.. and it aint cheap. It being all that is not the point, when you buy something you want as much info as you can get before u jump in and get it. Dont you agree silver or are u a impulse buyer? Anyways mate.. as you know ive been instrested in a exhaust system for sometime.. but i aint gonna jump the gun and get it cause u say its good, i need more facts about it and the best is from someone who installs it and lets me know how it feels and dyno charts etc.

But pls never say "if you want to know how it feels... then buy one!" its cheap.

anyone installed the exhaust system? and if so how does it feel?

well since people dont want there name mentioned on here for whatever reason, I will post somthing on here in the coming days and then everyone copy and paste it and finish it off with there own name... and we can all choose a day in which we will send the letter.. so they will get flooded with the same email from diff people all at once. <-- most effective :o Jenny i hope u got your seat belt on :P

Anyways once i post a letter on here we will discuss what to cut out or add to it until we all r happy. My intial letter would be short(200-300 words), harsh, simple english and straight to the point for example; We feel cheated, as would anyone; Buying a new car and having this ongoing problem since day one of our purchase and nothing from Toyota to resolve the issue, nor any constructive feedback from Toyota about this issue.

Ok lets all write a single email to toyota Aus (Jenny) Including all our names. So if you could all, write your full name here in this nw post, if u have a gear problem that would be great. And anyone willing to write up the letter, or myself, can post the letter here. Then everyone, can copy paste the same letter and send it to jenny. So toyota Australia will get heaps of the same email's all at once. So at least they know we r serious. Because big cooprartions like toyota are not about the indiviual customers they only help out groups. So lets all unite and fight as one.

racv rating one $1100 <- no real mods allowed eg. no more then 6.5" allowed on tyres

AAMI rating one $740 <-- 3 real mods allowed, eg. unichip etc..

saw a nice civic vtec with a turbo however the guys said he was not that happy having 127 k/w at the wheel.

Ok guys just wanna know how many of us have this problem...... i hope its only the few on here.

but dont forget its is only a few of us which have this problem..... so why do the other guys not have a problem? if its a bad design, well why do theirs work fine?
