does anyone on here know how to change the orginal deck unit lights on the sportivo? and if so what type of leds do i need? etc etc any help will be great.... (not the climate control area.. the cd player etc)

about time... a logical comment about the recall...

well the new stivo still advertised with 141 kw and have been upgraded.... so i doubt that.. and the guys in SA have said they felt slight improvement in mid power so i doubt it once again. And i have spoken to a service manager at toyota and he as confirmed to me that the stivo is slightly underpowered and the recall will take place soon, so once again i doubt they will reduce our current pwr... but always good to hear a way off point of view

these intakes that trd is talking about are pretty much the same (looks identical, just the filter really only making a difference) as the AEM, the real main difference is it comes with a heat sheild and leaves your wallet feeling heavier :o :D hehehehe u gotta love the cheaper brands..... the brand is otto, pretty much the same as NO FRILLS

Well i had the same problem also with the shocks.... the reason was because they were leaking...... Now this is a warranty issue.. and will be replaced free of charge regarless who u know..

The gear problem will be fixed as soon as there is a solution regardless who u know.

Brake problem will be fixed........ regardless who u know..

the only thing who u know will aid u is.. that the job will get done on your first or 2nd visit in to service, if dont know anyone might take longer depends how nice they r... etc etc... <-- this info is from experience... now i have made friends with the service manager hehehehhe lol. :D

natio on my passport says aussie, but italian background.

try using putting your foot half on the brake and half on the gas... <-- dont know if that is a good way to do it... but its more comfortable

Im a flying instructor for light aircraft, moreover aiming to get into bigger aircraft later on hopfully doing somthing like cargo runs or corporate flights. I also work casual as a italian chef.

u can buy what trd 141 has which is not exactly eyelids but looks better i think... (yeah i know i will get done for saying that from all your eye lid people hehehehhe.. eye lids look great, just look **** from side on) its just a front light protector (plastic) with black shades to act as the eyelids. Cheaper also....

If u wanna see what it looks like look at the pics of trd 141 car.. if u dont like it well i guess ask marcus about the eye lids he lives in melb... or try and get it from singapore etc etc..

lol in a certain emergency... if u had to stop quickly who cares about the clutch.. if u r doing 80 or 90 km/h.. drop the clutch into 2nd, apply brake (esp in the wet, wont skid as much when dropping the clutch as much as just appling brakes alone and hard), then if u need to pick up speed, since u r in 2nd if u still have good momentum (say 35km/h) floor it... if u r very slow throw it back into 1st gear... and so on.

Anyways... great info man, might have to give it a go... but all and all, if u care about the wear and tear of your car mechanical components just dont drive it hard.

well.. who's got the newest built date for 2003 model.. mine Nov 28 03 purchased Feb.. and still had all the problems of brakes rattling gears etc.

i went to autobarn, i told the guy to put em on for me... perfect fit.. proffesionally installed... and i was relaxing.... B)

you wont feel the better handling, till u lower it. The only thing u will feel is a lighter pocket :o , thoughts saying **** have i dont the right thing and omg everyone is looking at my car, must be the rims B)

omg the clutch wont go after a 1000 stand still drags.......... and u worried about a few. :o

what would be another good idea peekay if for me to sit in the passenger side and feel the difference.. (instead of saying drag, sorry if that upset u. No way would i ever try to upset someone on here, we r a team not solo acts)(CAI and headers r coming soon in my car say a week or 2). And also see the dyno of the different mods u have done and what they have done for our sportivo's performance esp the chip .

OM******ING G u have taken this completely out of proportion. This forum is meant to bring corolla owners together and help other corolla owners on mods and other things. I am looking into getting a chip and peekay is fellow corolla owner who has one and he lives in melb. Why the hell do u think i am attacking anyone on this forum? (i know u havent mentioned my name but feels like u r, what the **** did i say wrong?) I need help from Peekay, and that is in regards to his improved performance due to his chip. So why wont you help me ???????????????????
