  1. Thanks for the quick reply The greeny colour is starting to annoy me a little, so I think it's time for a change. Philips T10 bulbs ay', are they the sort of bulbs I can buy a Repco or Supercheap, or am I going to have to hit up the old eBay to try and find some?? I thought there was some trick to getting it out!! I've just had the dash pulled out a little to get a bulb out and had to disconnect it from behind the firewall just to do that! Good to see that I'm not retarded and that others have had to do this to get the dash out. Will remember for next time so that I can get the cluster the whole way out. Thanks for the help, it should progress a lot quicker now that I know exactly what to do and what to use.
  2. Very nice car mate I see that you have replaced the original bulbs in the dash cluster and I'm interested in changing mine as well, but first I wanted to ask you if you replaced your bulbs with LED's, or just bought replacement bulbs? Also, would you be able to tell me the size bulb/LED in the instrument cluster if possible (eg. #74, #194, T5, etc)?? After a little bit of web searching I am thouroughly confused Any information would be a great help and much appreciated. Thanks
  3. Wow, that's a whopper of a box. And I thought the one I found was big!! Thanks heaps for clearing that up for me, as I said I was completely stumped as to what it was.
  4. Hey All Currently I'm needing to replace one of the air pipes on my '92 4A-GE GTi Corolla, and I stumbled across a random box attached to the pipe. I've recently had the box off and there doesn't seem to be anything connected to it or inside of it, so I was just wondering: a ) What the heck is it; and b ) Whether it is vital to my car running normally. I then went on to try and find if there was anything inscribed in the plastic, and didn't end up with much. The only thing I came across was the manufacturers name 'Denso'... Here are some pics: As I said, I haven't got the slightest clue as to what it could be or its purpose, so any information on it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.
  5. Ouch, 2 1/2 hours from the beach.. That sucks! I've been to the Natural Bridge at night time and saw the glowworms there. It was quite spectacular! The beach and theme parks - Can't go wrong there!! Sounds like you had a great time.
  6. One word, Yes. The weather seems to have its own agenda up here. We got all that rain a couple of weeks ago, now its gone back to being hot! Must be nothing compared to down there though, the forecast gave VIC a 38°C max today!! :o I can tell you, I'm not envious of you right now! Yeh, this is the time when I wish I lived down the beach, just be able to hit the surf and feel the refreshing water cooling me down. And using my futile attempts to prevent my skin from burning ;) Apparently we're meant to be getting some humidity as well which will not be fun. Experienced it in the rainforests of QLD which were unbelievable :D Yeah, the beach does sound good. Shame it's an hour drive north or south before you find any decent beaches up here <_< Humidity sucks. I can stand the heat but as soon as the humidity starts to creep up the sweat starts and it gets all muggy and it's just generally unpleasant. Which rainforests did you end up going to?? They sure are breathtaking!

  8. Very nice car, looks great!! Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to seeing what you've got planned for the future

Just a few snaps of my ride
  10. Hey everyone at TOC. My name is Shannon and I recently bought myself a '92 Corolla GTi. Looking forward to roaming around the forums and learning new things, and hopefully getting a few tips on how to get my car to the level I want it to be at. Cheers, from QLD (Sunshine State, yeah right!)
