my camry vibration gone after full engine flush.

2yrs ago my interior light played up. It happened several time I put new globe then fuse blown. After 2 to 3 times, I gave up and went to Toyota. They said there would be short circuit on Dome light housing and better replace the whole unit. I followed their advice and changed the whole dome light unit, guess what, the problem fixed :D.

Just over a year after flushing engine, I changed oil at last April (at mechanic) and within four months I lost half of the engine oils. Eventually I decided to change the rear main seal at new mechanic. Now I'm $720 poorer, (new rear main seal and rocker cover gasket again). But no burning smells and feels happy. Hopefully, that will fix oil leaking.

My Camry had kind of similar situation and it started shaking between 90 to 100 km, but after I changed my front shocks that shaking gone.

Are you worrying about blind spot? I stick round shape blind spot mirror on passenger side (external) mirror and problem sloved.

To be honest, very painful and lots of hassle. easiest way is try to spray with Selleys Kwik Grip - 350G, Adhesive Spray, but that is temporary fixed. by proper way 1. remove plastic trim from pillars 2. remove hand holders, sun visors, internal light and plastic holder from roof. 3. taking out foam backing from car (super painful) 4. remove sagging old fabric trim, and remove old yellowish foam from liner 5. buy new foam and new fabric(if you want to reuse old fabric don't wash it), and adhesive (2 to 3 Tub of Selleys Kwik Grip - Tub, 500ml) 5. apply adhesive and apply foam. let them dry for a day or two. 6. apply adhesive and apply fabric, let them dry for another day. 7. put your new head liner into the car, (super painful again) 8. put hand handle, sun visor, internal light and plastic holder 9. put plastic trim back to pillars. If I were you, I don't want to do it myself again and get quote from auto trimmer. Normally auto trimmer will quote you around $120 to $200, but if you do it by yourself that will cost you $120+ and lots of time, energy and hassle. Sorry I don't have any photos while I did on my roof lining.

How much different of Normal vs Sportivo Suspension? I read once as ACV36R comes with Timing Chain and no need to change and last longer up to engine life, is that true? Educate me please.

after full engine flush by mechanic no more shaking/vibrating. Wow I didn't understand fully as why engine flush sloved the shaking vibrating.

recently I check with my car revs, N/P revs => 750 revs In all gear Gear => very first reach to 800 then drop to 750

engine revs is round about 800 in N/P and slightly move up when in gear (900-1000). I can see upper engine mount and front engine mount is changed, but I can't see easily lower engine mount, mechanic said changed, so hopefully changed.

My 2.2L Automatic 99'Camry start Vibrating/Shaking since last month. As soon as I put into gear from N/P to D/2/L or R, start vibrating/shaking. but put it back to N or P very smooth and no vibrating or when car start moving no vibrating. So same as when I stop at traffic light feels Vibrating/Shaking, when car start moving vibrating go away. I fixed exhaust bracket but vibrating still exist. And as per oil leakage, mechanic changed TimingBelt, water pump, seals and rocker cover gasket, as well as put new Engine mounts. But vibrating still remains after spending over thousand dollars. The mechanic said as per 13 years old car should be little vibrating, but I'm not agree as no vibrating at N/P. Before changing enging mounts, he said shaking cause by worn engine mounts. He then blame engine have sludge as he saw when changing rocker cover gasket. :( How do you guy think? Please advise.

Can I use Penrite HPR10 10w50 (Full Synthetic) for 5sfe engine? any Pros and Cons? I bought 99' Camry at last year. At the beginning there is no oil leakage, but just after first service from local mechanic (he use Volvoline) oil start leaking from driver side. Thus is why I'm thinking of 10w50.

I asked at supercheap and they said lead will be over $100 and need to be order.

I fixed my exhaust front end leak below oxygen sensor at Budget Exhaust Bankstown. Fadi (owner) is very friendly and looks lot of experience in the industry. He found and fixed exhaust bracket broken in the middle of car and another leakage at muffler end. I'm happy with Budget Exhaust Banktown.

my 99' Camry (2.2L engine) is leaking engine oil and which make so smelly as dropping onto exhaust. When I show to mechanic, he said 2 oil leakage happen. Major one is oil leaking from seal of timing belt, he show me at driver side of engine and oil slowing leaking toward onto exhaust pipe.. Another one is passender side of engine (middle of the engine block, not major but I can see oil stink from engine) My timing belt is due at next 30000 kilos but he reckon to change all Timing Belt, seal and water pump and quote me nearly 1000, is that good price? my car is just low K at 161K on the clock.

Please recommend Mechanic/Workshop/Penal Beater in NSW -> Canterbury/Campsie/Belmore area. Want to fix oil leak onto exhaust and eventually make a hole in exhaust + and brakes/suspension changes.

apparently I still using Unleaded for my 99 Camry Auto Sedan(4cyl - 2.2L) And I got 12.99 Liters/ 100 kilos in city and hwy combine driving. (with 90% of the time AC on) Is my camry drinking too much fuel or Is my foot too heavy? (notes: always 1 driver + 1 passenger ride)
