  1. Is the CES muffler str8 thru or chambered?

Hey, im looking to get my car audio done soon and im looking for the best sub to buy which basically rivals and is the same as the JL 12" w7 but cheaper as i reckon the w7 is overpriced but neadless to say an insane peice of audio equipment. Also a good amp to go with it. Does any1 have any suggestions??
  3. Itis mild steel I've checked it's probably as high as the exhaust can go, so the solution will have to be to strengthen the welds somehow
  4. Would u think if I go to an exhaust shop can strengthen the welds somehow?
  5. Fml. I just got my exhaust fixed which had a leak due to a crack in the welding around the middle resonator which made a puttty type noise. it's happened again 2 weeks after! I think it could be the exhaust being to low as i do scrap the middle of the exahust somtimes. Is their a way to lift the exhaust higher? It's a full exahust with str8 thru muffler. help me pls!
  6. Um, the heater doesn't rely on power to create it's heat. It is generated by the hot coolant from your engine. If it's not cooling, either your heater core lines are blocked, or your air mix vane/servo is stuffed. Oh my bad, I thought it worked using an element & fan, so who do u recommend to fix such problems
  7. Yeah, heater Doesn't work for sure, I suspect a blown fuse 4 the heater, now I dnt have user manual, would u know where it is located, under the hood or behind the glovebox
  8. Ok I was recently given an opportunity to swap my 2005 Corolla Sportivo with a full exhaust Inc headers, & CAI for a stock 99 WRX. I'm thinking about it is the rexy alot faster stock compared to my stivo + the listed mods?

  10. have yout tried putting it on hot, and turning onn the a/c as well ? Yeah, but saying that it doent go hot :s I set it to like 30 degrees it doesn't warm up even abit

  13. As u Sydneysiders may know it has been cold lately, & my front & rear windows fogs up & I can't defog them. It's actually very dangerous. Correct me if I'm wrong but u use hot/warm air & for some reason I can't get the temperature to match what the setting is on, it stays cold.
  14. I jst spoke to Neil , he reckons a normal sportivo puts out only 100kw atw and an exhaust & CAI brings it to 110 kw atw :s So what does call a normal sportivo?? In my history a sportivo pre facelift before the recall from toyota made roughly 95-100kw atw and after the recall(and facelifts models) about 103-112kw atw(Azza's red sportivo) so there is a big difference to be had. Sorry I meant to say 'standard sportivo' & come to think about it I didn't specify to Neil what year it was manufactured & if it was pre OR post facelift He just said: "Chris, We find that a standard Sportivo puts out about 100kw at the wheels. You should have about 110kw at the wheels. To get to 140kW ATW the MWR stage 3 cams plus a dyno tune with an aftermarket ECU will do it."

  19. With the knowlege and experience of u forum members and stivo pilots (lol) .. how much kw atw will I be expected to make with a full exahust & CAI? My goal is to achieve around 140 kw atw, however in the most cost effective way ( with the exception of s/c, nitrous & turbos. P plater atm, Fml. Also please add mods near the kw range shown below that will be needed to help the at achieve these results: 115 kw atw: 120 kw atw: 130 kw atw: 140 kw atw: 150 kw atw:
  20. Hi, I bought king spring superlows 40mm-50mm as I wanted a 2" drop all around as u was previously 4x4ing on my 18" Kuro intakes lol. (I didnt want to go d coilover option). I was recommended to buy these springs for both the front & rear of my car from wholesale suspension, However, after I got them fitted the back is a little higher than the front & I'm not with it. I have been told by a number suspension places that it's the engine just weighing in on from & the back will settle soon after driving it a bit with weight and going over speed humps etc.. Any1 know if it's normal ( I know most pol get lows @ the frnt and super lows @ d bak but super lows sit above the tire at the front & it looks sick , it's just the bak) any1 have had this issue?

  22. I just cbf dealing with them anymore, so just looking for a good shop, castlehill mufflers and hitech mufflers have been suggested

Hi, I've made the mistakenof going Liverpool mufflers, the extractors, piping and highflow cat are all good, however I'm looking for a place that will give me the correct resonators and muffler for the sound i want. I want a deep idle, deepest & most aggressive muffler for throughout all the rev ranges without sounding farty at any rpm. I want a very racey sound. Can any1 suggest a shop and if possible the brand & type of muffler/&resonator
  24. Yeah I've had alot of compliments aswell with the sound, what exact set up did u get & what type of problems? I might relate.
