can the 1->2 shifintg prob be put down to one single part? or is it a combination of errors so to speak? And if it is one single part whats the diff between it and the TRD option.

TRD CAI ~$470 (depends on the exchange rate), Super charger ~$5000, twin turbos priceless lol
-
Cold Air Intake if you dont mind spending a bit more go see bruce @ www.trdsales.com and pick up a TRD CAI its prolly the best bang/buck mod it also give the engine a nice raspy note.
-
so im guessing that you do this when there is no chance in hell you are going to need your car lol
-
are you still using your stock springs? not that it really matters but it may be something to look at lowering it at the same time and yes if your springs are fine then you can just get new shocks
-
sounds like good fun, do they have a webiste?
-
yes but what he is saying is that in order for you to fit it you would have to have the factory spoiler removed and its bolted on as well as holes for the loom that connects the rear brake light so it would not be cheap
-
look guys we all know that my 1zze is way faster cause the face lift ones go faster :P btw im glad to see that all you guys with stivos are seeings positive gains from the recall its nice ot know that some car manufacturers are willing to correct there mistakes.

went for a dyno last night with the K&N pod and the results were not that great infact i went backwards the K&N ended up @ 86.2kw as shao and I said the K&N doesn't sound as harsh as the TRD so tomorrow the TRD goes back on.
TRD is the blue plot and the K&N in the red plot
and here is one comparing all 3, stock (pink), K&N (green) and TRD (red)

yes you can just lower it but its not good plus the stock shocks wont take it for long. The springs basically determine the ride height, the shocks are what makes it corner like a bitch so its worth the extra cash. My Koni's (shocks only) set me back $1200 fitted and you are looking at another $200-$300 for springs if you get it all done at the same time you can save yourself some labour charges
