  1. sorry its been a while since i have been on here. not sure where i should be putting this but ill do it here. i have some bad news to report and for some of you guys to keep an eye out for. I am currently house sitting at my cousins house - my car was parked outside on the street here in ormond and my personalised 'R35PCT' (respect) number plates were stolen off my car, both front and back, so if anyone comes across or happens to see or hear anything about these please let me know. it has been reported to police and vicroads and some new plates have been reisssues.... damn things cost me $100, but its all worth it. just thought i would keep you updated and the plates should be here in about 14days.... so i think i will have to give the cruise a miss...
  2. i had the same feeling... it frustrates me to see this, but this is what soccer has turned into. to me, it is the same when beckham signed for them. they are just a team of superstars struggling to find enough spots on the pitch to put them all... when i heard the news about ronaldo it really did make me wonder where all this money is coming from GO MAN UNITED!!!
  3. Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone on here knew of anyone in Melbourne that produces custom badges. I was looking into the possibility of rebadging a car to make it very personal - for my dads business. His work car is a KIA and we both hate their badging and wanted to make it the company logo... does anyone know of any contact that does anything like this? or what sort of cost is involved?
  4. was great fun - great cars and great people, thanks all i am looking forward to seeing you all in a few hours for the cruise... keep the rain away... looking forward to the pics
  5. BKS - great work so far mate! Im just waiting on my soccer fixture. It should be an awesome weekend. NB: Just looking at the cruise route should there be any drama in some areas such as kinglake where the bushfires have been?

Top stuff mate! Looks great... Between your inspiration and the sagging material sitting on my head while im driving it is now something that looks alot more reasonable and obtainable, I may give it a crack this weekend if I get the time. Looks neat!

i have the same problem, so much sag that on a hot day the roof lining actually touches my head when i drive... its a little frustrating, may give what redracer has suggested when i get some time. Thanks for the info... You just beat me to making a topic here about it... If it gets I will let you know how it goes... Wixy - another minor camry (gen3) drama is the lifting dash, so you can see the yellow foam underneath it when you look though the windscreen. but the many pluses clearly outweigh the problems - awesome air con, reliable - starts first time everytime, engines usually last almost for ever, i have seen camrys with high 300,000kms on them I think there was also one just over 400,000 km's ... gotta love the camry
  8. yeah im feeling the 40+ heat too... here in Melbourne, work in the CBD... lucky for me, i have an office with no windows to the outside world, just to the stairwell and i have 2 fans and an air conditioner in my little (3m x 6m) office... the thing that frustrates me is the trains ... with soooo many services being cancelled and overcrowded trains just rubbing salt into the wound about the situation of it being so hot and this happening, when we all just want to get home... there was almost a punch on in the train last night coming home, becuase one more person tried to fit into an already full carriage and someone wasnt happy about it and was like easy easy easy... and they were pushing each other... i just wannnnna go home... lol well now we add friday'itice to it... .cant wait to get home... we have good air con (as long as we dont have a power failure - like we did last night). but it is comforting to know, once i get off the train i can get into my camry and the toyota air con is wicked.... works a charm... nice a cool almost instantly... well thats my rant, not much longer to go for the day... enjoy guys, stay cool
  9. parked at southland carpark burgandy gen 3 camry, body kit, bonnet scoop, dual twin exahuast, rims, lowered, the works, plates 'RDQLUS' autosalon competitor 08 - had the sticker on the front.... as i took some photos, the guy came back to his car, so i had a chat with him
