  1. Yea I think ur rite il just get 205/50R16-87V cos u cant find 88V load ratings on this size tyre (bloody toyota had to make life difficult lol) Now its just a matter of finding a set of 5 sportivo rims for the rite price lol :D
  2. Hi all, I've got a question which may seem a little stupid to some but I need to know. If I replace my stock ascent rims (with stock tyres 195/60R15-88V) with sportivo rims (but with tyres 205/50R16-87V) will this be legal? Because I know the load rating on stivo rims r 87V, but must I still follow the 88V rating given on the sticker inside my glove box (for the stock ascent rims)? (I hope I didn't confuse any1). Can any1 answer this or point in the direction of another post that does? PS: yes I did do a search on this b4 posting n I couldnt find an answer. Thanks in advance guys! ;)
  3. The Pulsar being replaced with the Tiida is part of a worldwide practice amongst all manufacturers of aligning the names oftheir cars around the world: Echo => Yaris Pulsar => Tiida Festiva => Fiesta etc..... Yea true you make a good point... But it has been proven fairly unsucessful with poor sales and all round bad reception in Australia despite its heavy spending on giving it a 'whole new image' with its adds. Now as a last resort they r trying to let people noe its a pulsar with its new print adds stating "the pulsar's replacement". Even though I don't like the look of the car, i think it would have much higher sales if it stuck with the name "Pulsar" as its a well known Australian car name that's easily recgnisable. (Sorry if I've steered a bit off topic guys)
  4. Yuk... Wat the hell is happening to car manufacturers today :( 1. this new ugly corolla 2. Holden phasing out there European built series with korean s**t e.g. replacing astra with viva 3. Nissan replacing the pulsar with the new tiida (ugly!) 4. Honda discontinueing there hatchback and 2 door civic in Australia It's sad times for car enthusiasts
  5. <_< Hmm no police officer here to verify this but I guess that as long as your eyelids don't actually get in the pathway of the light beam (ie blocking the concave around the bulb itself) you can argue that there is no obstruction. But if it does actually block part of the circular concave thingy where the bulb is (like many eyelids do) they probably can and will defect you (soz I hope that made sense I tried my best to explain it). But geez I wish the coppas would stop picking on the little fish like us n use there time more wisely like dealing with REAL criminals... lol
