  1. I do know that the lights on the 204 are around that price and wreckers no that also, so they do not go cheap. JDM projector ones can be had for close to 1000 last time i heard some one discusiing it. Pics would be helpful as people might be able to help if show exactly what needs doing.

I know not really helpful though.

    Cheers

    Jo

  2. Stupid question do you have to stay for all three days????? If not then count me in for the cruise part and prob spectator at show n shine

Sorry just read it properly lol. should really not skim over things. Will try come to most of it as it sounds pretty good as long as no exams or assingments

  3. I would go for the MR2, it seems as though it has been looked after and even better she is giving a road worthy cert which is very vulable with a car of either age. MR2 are hard to work on and engine stuff is a pain, but the body kit on the celica may cause issues as it needs respraying or maybe be hiding something else. Respraying costs a lot. Get the car that has been looked after most which out of these two cars seems to be the MR2. Get both inspected though as they both may need work, and MR2 engines are not fun to work on.

  4. The guys at the muffler shop shoulg be able to make the pipe for you. They did for a friend on his 206 GTI RC as we used to work at the supercheap across the road. They also did my mufflers. Try reuse the old pipe by cuting it and making that the rubber ends, and getting plumping clamps from bunnings as they are dirt cheap from there. Looks good though.

  5. Its the phillips head screw facing forwards just above the bumper. If you follow the parking light you will see it has a little tab that lines up underneath the carbon fiber grill thingy. It should be tucked into the corner near the parking light but under the grill but able to be accessed with out removeing anything. If you squat in front of the front of the car near the parker you will see it.

    Hope that helps

  6. It should be the one screw directly underneeath the headlight. NO need to keep them popped up. Should then become loose then think pull the whole thing forward a bit and should come out. Get SMD leds or ones that are not normal LEDS that blind you when they are on Sorry thats is what i ment by the focus. Jaycar should be able to show you them lit up. The parker housing is a bit tinted so it shold be fine. Just do not go for crazy bright

  7. Yeh they are the t10 wedge. Same for the number plate lights. Get from Jaycar for like 3 bucks for two. Make sure they are not overly blinding and do not focus light on a point as it makes them very obvious to Cops.

  8. If you want to keep it, get the engineers cirt and make the car less defectable if possible by hiding stuff.

For the EPA test try a standrad air box and exhaust if possible, I think you will need to remove boost controler if you have one, cat converter in the exhaust as its a 10k fine if there is not one Catco on ebay make a cheap one that is stamped for australia market i think.

Depending on the cop they can pretty much defect you for anything like uncovered tow ball or the stupidist one i heard was not enough clicks in the handbrake when pulling it up.

Hope it all goes well though sound like you put a lot of effort into it, and still have love for it to just sell it.
