I don't know this oil, but 5-10 years ago, Nearlly all Toyota in my country was with Castrol TXT. After 50-150 tkm oil consumption was over 1litr/1000km, so Toyota Motor Poland changed engine blocks for all people. Now nobody want this oil and change Castrol for anything else.
Mobil 5W50 is full synthetic oil, I haven't ever heared about 10W30. If you use your car in hard climate with very cold winter, it's better to use 5W50, but in Aussie it's not necessary. For example I use Mobil 0W40. Last winter was -30* C, and this oil let my car start without any problem. If you need very good oil, you should buy Motul, but never use Castrol in Toyota. It's the worse oil I ever heard.
till 97 was E-10 since 97 till 01? is E-11 E-10 is said to be the best toyota in my country. E-11 is a liite worse, but there is not a lot of diference betwen them. Just body ;)
I've got ebc green stuff with oryginal discs. I've changed brake pads 5000 km ago, so until now it works ok. There is much more dust on wheels than before (oryginal pads). I've asked the same question some time ago in polish corolla club. Some people told, that everything should be ok, but somebody told, that EBC GS makes discs much more hot, and can destroy it, so after few hard breaking I try to drive slowly and let discs to be not to hot. Sorry for my bad english
Hi My corolla e11 4efe has 50 liter tank. When I drive not fast on motorway, or outside cities, uses aprox. 5-5,5 l/100km. When is very hot, uses 7 l/100km in the city, but in cold winter, can use 9,5 l/100 km.
