I am going to as the wheels are going to be spaced outwards more.
The guards aren't the problem though, it's the narrow metal fittings to the inside of the body on the other side of the carpet (back) and font bumper fitting other side the plastic (front) which stick out inside the arches.
Might make it easier and take some pics
Yup McPherson struts so theres camber on the front being used, rears are inwards from lowering anyway but still might get some camber bolts and see if they get me anymore space, cheers keeps my mind open for options.
I think Prodigy is right though. 4 in the car and the coils go to hardest, and the 5th can walk ahha. Probably should of got more than a 5kg spring for the back though <_<

Hey guys,
Background: zr6 lowered on coils, hardness at front is 8 from hardest, 10 on back, 19x8.5 inch wheels +28offset, 235 40 tyres, approx 85mm height at lowest point.
Problem: Front - scrubbing on front wheel arches when sharp cornering where plastic protudes at outside edge near top, I have scrubbed through the plastic to the metal inside, pretty sure this is the front bumper connection fittings, to fix I'm going to hopefully bend the metal holding the front bumper and re-shape plastic so it's flat. Has anyone done this? Also is there another option which would stop the suspension from compressing at a certain height?
Back - scrubbed through carpet (2 small holes) outside edge at back very close to the lower plastic round fitting holding to the body, can see metal, does anyone know what this is (seems to be part of the body), can it be folded/grinded? Thankfully this only happens on big bumps or sharp cornering with 4 people in car.
Questions: are there bump stops on the zr6? Are these supposed to stop the suspension from compressing past a certain height or something along those lines so to stop scrubbing? If so can this be altered? If not is there something else I can install to do this?
And a random one, Im getting the front Superpro bushings installed for the pulling left issue, is there anything else which should be replaced whilst doing this, more bushings, re-greasing. Are there any bushings for the back as well?
Don't really want to set the coils any harder or raise the car. If anything if this works I will lower a bit more ^_^

Yikes, not nice at all.

I don't mind the front bar on the stradale but the back is just too much for me. Some interesting kits there though!
Yeah front is hot I reckon, didn't like the rear though, and the
exhaust was like an extra $900 without shipping. Would of got the Prius
rear and modded those little wings on it.

Masterwork GA-MU series
Masterwork GT Stradale series
You can find Masterwork here: https://www.facebook.com/garageMasterwork
Was going to get the GT Stradale but it's just too darn low LOL, also this kit should fit direct onto the facelifts models (note the hybrid grill which fits 2009 - 2011)
Here's my convo with the Masterwork guy, if your keen this should help heaps.
Hi,
RE: GT Stradale for GSV40 (ACV40)
Just a few questions, hope you can help.
Do you ship to Australia?
Does the body kit include the LED's and other accessories in the price?
Can the rear bumper be modified so that the middle is lower (don't want to install the pipes you have)
And a few randaom questions:Sorry, I didn;t finish,My
random questions were: what is the front grill you have installed and
also do you know where I could buy those specific headlights. I believe
they are the HID version. Thank s very much.January 28th, 12:16pmHello,
Alex.
All prices shown under the picture we posted.
For rear bumper, if you don't want the pipe it will be as Toyota
Prius's rear bumper (shown on the other posted) with rear LED at the
middle of the bumper.
Front grill installed in ACV40 from Camry Hybrid version. Headlights are
from Camry Hybrid too. They're hid but the bulbs and ballast not
include.January 31st, 2:25pmThanks.What
year Camry is in the picture? In Australia in 2009 the Aurions had a
facelift changing the front end bumper setup, grill and slight shape in
lights.
The Hybrid grill supposedly won't fit the pre 2009 Aurions so I'm
wondering if the whole kit is made to fit 2009 to 2011 not 2006 to 2008.
Also noticed that the price includes painting and installation, how much
would it cost for just the kit? Or are you able to paint match without
seeing the car in person?
Heaps of questions I know, sorry, I don;t think anyone has this in
Australia that's allJanuary 31st, 3:32pmYes,
whole kit is for 2009~ version but I made it for Hybrid version only.
So, the others grade's grill won't fit my bumper for sure but fit for
2009~ headlamps.
The kit without paint is 29,000 Baht (F+S+R) and not include packed and
shipping fee.
If you want to buy our kit you need to find the company to pack the kit
and ship to AU by yourself, we can't ship overseas.Whats F+S+R?Thanks for the info, I'll look into shipping and get back to you.Almost forgot, does this kit sit lower than the stock body when on? If so do you know by how muchFebruary 1st, 11:08amF+S+R - front bumper + side steps + Rear bumper.
The kit is 2 inches lower than stock side steps. Front bumper is approximate 3.5 inches lower.about an hour agoWhoa! Are you sure inches and not centimetres?Yes,
inches. But if you're not lowering the car, you can drive as standard
car. The kit design to use with air suspension. Air out and the bumper
will sit 1 inch high off the ground.Too
late ahha, my sides sit about 10cm on coilovers, I wouldn't be able to
get off my home road at 5cm. Damn, I won't be able to buy.
I'll put your info and this conversation on the Australian Toyota Aurion
forums for you though, thanks for your help.OK, Alex. Thanks! Here's the Toyota Prius's bumper by the way

Same, use and no problems

Hey guys,
Looking for the headlamp which has the horizontal lines where the parker should be, I've seen this on Thai Camrys.
Is that the one spoken of here? Could you help with where to buy these.
Thanks.
just out of curiosity are you talking about the facelift headlights ?
Ahha, yeah, just found out they are, sorry should of done a bit more thorough research beforehand.

I used a bit of black gaff tape to cover where i wore through on the plastic. Looks neat now and stops water/other crap getting in through the hole. Not sure about the metal fitting but I'd assume you're correct with it being a bumper fixture.
BTW how hard did you set those BCs? Guessing max if you're still running that ride height from the pic above! :)
Thanks man, the tape does it's job nicely, until the proper fix that is.
Fronts are: 12 from hardest, Rears: 15 from hardest, so medium...pretty sure it's the big bumps that were causing the scrubbing, but of course the few bouts of hard conering did most the damage ahha.

UPDATE TO MY POST ABOVE:
Everything has settled, approx 85mm off ground at front, rear seems a little higher
Scrubbing on front plastic guards (outside edge where the plastic bulges towards the wheel a bit), doing some hard cornering the other night I wore a hole through the drivers side, and found there is a small metal fitting inside.
Rears are good, only slight scrubbing with 3 in back but must corner very gently to avoid any scrubbing.
Does anyone know what this front metal fitting is for? Have a feeling it is a connection for the side of the front bumper.
Looking into getting guards rolled and also this metal fitting bent and remodel the plastic to sit flat like the rst of the guard, any other suggestions?

Update on above.
I set my coils to the softest setting and left for about 500km.
Now set to 12 clicks from hardest, no squeaking even in wet conditions.
Cause is still unknown, possibly settling noise.

18x8.5 +35 will be fine. I am running 19x8.5 +28 as shown above.
18x9.5 +35 I think you will have start having problems. I know that Whitezr6 has a few mm's between the rim and coils on his above setup (you might also have to get coilovers). The extra 7mm in offset will get you a bit more space here but could push the rim too far towards the guard. I would imagine that you would want to roll the guards and hopefully not but possibly flare the wheel arch.
9.5 is unknown territory for me, try PM Whitezr6.
Make sure that Territory rims have the same bolt pattern, Camry/Aurion is 5/114.3.

Hey Squish,
Nice flush look, what wheel size and offset are they?
-
Wheel brand: Stance sc-6ix
Wheel size: 19inch
Wheel width: 8.5inch
Offset: +28mm allround
Tyre pressure: 38psi (not sure if this is suitable)
Suspension: BC BR Coilovers withe 250mm extender for rears (approx 50mm poke between rear seat and shelf)
General: Car lowered, no scrubbing so far (only three people tried in car), no rolling or pumping of guards, front looks quite flush, rear could do with a spacer

Bumping an old thread here.
Private did you figure out what the squeak was, I'm getting the same thing but on my front drivers coil, doesn't seem to do it at all or anywhere near as bad when dry.
-
A bit more info.
There is sometimes no squeaking to begin with, maybe getting wet then squeak (weather has been pretty wet in Perth the last week). That doesn't explain only one is squeaking though
-
Sorry guys, I'm still figuring it out, anyway here's the link to the front strut pics.

Hi guys,
My BC coils are in, pictures of car will come once all prettied up.
8kg front and 4.5 kg rear, haven't sat in the back but tbh they are stiff as. I am on 12 clicks from hardest all round at the moment and will adjust to a more medium setting. Wheels are 19 inch with 225 tyres so this will add to the bumpiness.
The 250mm extenders come through between the back shelf and back of the back seat, they are about 50mm above the shelf. There was a little rubbing/settling noise from these but this has stopped now.
Questions:
What pressure should I make the tyres (first time with low profiles)
Typically how much (mm) do the coils drop over the break in period (starting to get some scrubbing, car is low
)
Should the 4 camber bolts (I think thats what they are) on top of the front struts be set symmetrically (opposite to eachother) as the BC instructions say? Pedders put way off symmetrical supposedly to suit the camber of Perth roads, I've attached pictures.
I am getting a loud squeaking noise from the drivers side front from bumps (big and small), I think this has something to do with the pillow top but not sure, other coils don't squeak, what could this be? The noise is an elongated squeal when i go slowly onto a different angle (eg: up a curb), this is only sometimes.
...omfg how do I add pictures!!

Called my insurance (AAMI) they were fine with a strut bar being put on...for extra money of course
-
Hrmm never thought of that, well lets see what the insurance says <_<
-
Just out of interest Couzellion, what tyres do you have? I got 225x40's on.
-
8.5 you should be fine, I have 19x8.5+25 on the front and no dramas, its the 19x9.5+25 that's been fun at the back...
Good to hear.
Stanced eh, I was gonna go stanced but wanted to be able to rotate the wheels, if not flush enough I'll aquire some spacers for the rears.
-
Just an update.
My wheels arrived
19x8.5 with +28 offset, just waiting on the coils and strut bar then install.
I will post everything in the main wheel size thread once all done.

I saw on a BMW forum that the extenders can be cut down to size, I've ordered 250mm just to be sure, I'll let you know in a few weeks how much I trim down if they need it.
I chose 8kg front, 5kg rear, haven't received a call yet saying they can't custom to that spring loading, fingers crossed. I bought through option1garage by the way.
Anyone have thoughts of where/how I can poke the extenders through so they show in the boot space instead of through the rear speaker shelf?

Didn't realise I had this problem till I read this, I've done 63000kms, no shudder from brakes, can't tell what side though so I gather both are going to need looking at.
Good time to be doing the bushes for pulling left too i guess, is there anything else which should be replaced whilst everything is coming apart?
