On average going to and from work in Newcastle my wife gets 9.8 on trips it usually sits around 7.9. And this car does get driven cause if you try baby it and conserve fuel it is higher no word of a lie. It is the weirdest car.

Hey guys i was talking to the guys at humex exhaust systems yesterday for work purposes but whilst i was talking with them i asked what it would take to get humex to design a bolt on sports system... He has asked me to get an approximate number of people that might consider buying an off the shelf kit. Talk to lovells suspension the do gvm upgrades for a number of vehicle I doubt you will increase it to 3500kg though. I'd look At the later 80 series they were 3500kg wack on a turbo and chop it into a ute if need be.

Why not just get a 3/4 seat from the workmates or base model then you will get all hardware and seat belts which will make for easy engineering

Really you can't beat the good old 2 h but in saying that if you can find a late 60 series with a 12ht engine you are gonna end up with great turbo'd option also if you need disc front you can roll the diffs under also giving you ample after market ratios and also possibly utilize some of the air con parts aswell

200 series cruisers are a factory dual starting battery so they are just linked through positive lead from batt to batt. at work I prefer to sell the c-tek dcdc as it has an inbuilt solar regulator and it is cheaper than a redarc also the c- tek has a temp probe and can be mounted on top of the fuse box.

With the technology in autos these days I will be buying an auto in my next 4wd they are so much better and more comfy. Only upgrade I will look at doing is a bigger auto cooler and a additional filter for the bug trips in the Kimberly or similar where it will get hot

Hi mate Tjm make a set but you will need to have the bars modified to suit the arb bar as they both use different angles on the wings of the bar. Apart from that unfortunately due to side impact air bags I would not get a set made by a bloke who is handy with a welder because if you are involved in an accident the bars will not be ADR compliant and they could wipe your insurance.

Uni joints in rear shaft also check if shaft has been aligned also if uni joints are offset on either end the shaft can vibrate. Also drop rear axles and check wheel bearings.

well guys have some funny news hassled my fiance about not crashing the car well it hapened 4 days after we picked it up she was stopped in traffic at hexham and a red p plater to busy tweeting hit the back so it now in getting a new rear bumper and boot fix.
