Thay are Electronic and driven off gear box. look for broken wires at the gear box . some wreckers have parts or ebay

the lock you are talking is a latch to stop the sliding door hitting fuel filler door when open on tcr10 thay wear a stay up put hand behind push it down . mine dose the same thats what i do then it will go all the way open
