Fair bit of work in the one i have. Defiant modified the normal ducktail so it would not have the badge cutout. See his thread for that. The holes for the stock spoiler are on top of the boot. Had them welded up. Also had the badge removed leaving quite a large reses . Panel beated that out and flushed up. Then the boot was re painted. Attached the ducktail with two bolt and a bit a sikaflex. Hope that helps

Next onto the parcel shelf.cant believe how thin it is. Got two coats Of the black mat Replace the RF 6x9s Now put it all back together again. The mechanical blind was rather weighty Chucked a few strips in to get ready for the boot install

So got to do a bit of work on her this week Thought I'd put this stuff to good use Start on one door for now Bit of sealed mdf for the holes. I forgot to take a pic of the foam I use All done ready for a speakers

Mate cam over and did my roof loner black. Nice and simple. Also got the current ZR6 logo embossed in the liner for a bit of class Got a new dome light too finally :) lol

A few more upgrade to go in when I get time.... 'Sigh' Some Hertz HSK165 components And some Soundstream Tarantula SS6.9s for the rears these both pack a huge punch :)

Speaking of which I'm now upgrading my sound system. First step is to get a good quality H7 Don't use NAV and I'm beginning to hate the touch screen interface of my do on unit. So I got this. Pioneer DEHX8500DAB Great u it. Excellent sound quality And the dash comes out again lol End product :) Very happy with this unit

Hey mate. All depends on what you want. If your after sound quality and performance than the eonon unit isn't the go Buuuuut if you want all the bells and whistles at the sacrifice of SQ then th so on unit is great :)

Boot struts? Aurions have horizontal boot springs. The camry's springs are the same kind but not sure if you can interchange them

Okay so when we painted the car we made the fatal mistake of leaving the painted engine plastics on during the respray. Unfortunately they got covered in overspray from the clear :( really looked **** even after trying to sand them back and buff them. So for an event this month I decided to colour code them to the custom black. Came out great for a quick job :)

Next stereo upgrade. After having the 8" Eonon unit for a while now I decided to move on The unit is great in the Essenes that it come with all the bells and whistles. NAV, big screen SD card, wheel controls etc. It lacks in sound quality. After doing lots of research I found out that my amps and speakers are at less than half their potential using the Eonon unit. So before everyone starts saying WTF? I went with a single din unit. Truth be told. I hate touch screen. I don't watch DVDs in the car and I have never use the NAV... Not once lol After trying to get best bang for buck I narrowed it down to 2 units So I got this. The DEHQ-8500DAB This this is great! The sound! Amazing and I haven't even done the gains properly yet lol Has everything the old unit had just no screen. Also has 2 USB ports,SD, MIRATRAX,DAB and heaps of sound options! The install pic- Had to rip my interior apart.....again "sigh" Ran the Bluetooth mic and DAB antenna but was easy as to do Probably paint the facia when I pain the pillars...dunno yet. I'm just happy with the whole system now. What a difference!
