  1. What do you guys think; Should I paint the muffler black (leaving the exhaust tip stainless steel)? Here's abit of editing using the software PAINT. Leaving muffler stainless steel: Paint it black:
  2. hahaha thanks man! Yeah we can even throw a meet before that. And yeah like jeffy said, nothing wrong with that. That's what our cars were built for anyway.
  3. Hahaha i suck at taking photos. Yeah maybe one day we'll be at the same place, at the same time
  4. after a very long wait, recieved the XSP rear diffuser on friday and installed it on saturday. Took me an hour and a half to do. Only hard part is trying to line it up and have it centred. It was extremely sunny and since my car just got a wash and wax, too much sunlight was reflecting off the car, making it difficult for my phone camera to focus properly and take a quality, detailed shot.
  5. From my knowledge, you can mod your car as much as you want and you will still be under warranty. It's only if there's a problem with your car and the part the problem associates to, happens to be aftermarket/modded, then it won't be under warranty. Also, If you install anything aftermarket and it causes problems to an OEM component, you will also void warranty; e.g if you install aftermarket suspensions and your drivedraft starts to screw up, they won't fix it under warranty
  6. I was thinking of leaving it unpainted... It's been nearly 3 weeks lol. Tracking shows it arrived in australia on the 14th but no activity ever since :\
  7. Looks awesome man. The diffuser looks good aswell. Can't wait to get the whole shabang so i can install it lol. Btw, did your bro in-law paint the diffuser or get it wrapped?
  8. Didn't realise you actually posted on my thread... nice meeting you the other week man! haha Haha sounds good. I would be more than happy to pop by if someone plans it. Mine's pretty much form>function... I don't really plan on modifying for speed, unless i'm lucky enoungh to win the lottery lol... This car is just for stance but in the future I wanna buy a project car to completely modify :)
  9. haha you'll cop a defect and you'll have to take the aftermarket tail lights off and put the stock ones back on, so no fine. Unless they demand a RWC and/or you pay someone to take off the lights for you. Cops these days will defect you for anything. I know so many people who get dicked for stupid stuff like; no fluid in the window washer, electronic windows not working, wrong tyre pressure etc etc the list goes on and on. Anything for revenue raising these days
  10. Hey guys, Just to let you guys know i have created a post in 'Members rides' on the main page, of my bulid. 11. Tinted fog lights yellow. Yes I know i take **** photos but i'll TRY take better ones next time lol
  12. Finally got around to debadging the rear. Forgot to take a before photo but here's what it looks like now. Cleaned the area with a damp cloth, used hair dryer to heat up the glue then used floss to slowly take it off. Floss kept snapping so took a little longer than it was supposed to. After all badges were removed, used adhesive remover to remove the remaining residue and gave it a good wipe with quick detail.

  16. Been meaning to post a topic on here weeks and weeks ago and finally getting the chance to do it now. I've had the car for about 8-9 months now. My original build thread: http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/45544-2013-atara-sx-progress/ Thought i'd share my car and maybe you guys might see me around. Ussually only drive around west side and north side of melbourne... 17. Haha thanks man :) the AirRex system is pretty quiet. You can barely hear it from the outside when you air out, which is one of the main things I love about the system!
  18. So I finally got the chance to work on my car today. Just did a few minor tweaks, mainly height adjustments. I took the photos before i adjusted the height and was planning to take the photos again after i was finished but i forgot (once again). These are my 3 presets for parking, driving and obstacles (speed bumps, driveways etc) ***NOTE: My drive height WAS 130mm off the ground but now it's 110mm, from lowest point (front bumper). Aired out is roughly 40mm off the ground, only for parking. Aired out - PARKING: DRIVE HEIGHT: OBSTACLES: I aired out by pressing preset for driving, then preset for parking, hence the slight pause while airing out.
  19. niceee! how much was shipping?
  20. Yeah sadly i don't own an AMEX card so i'll just have to register for a standard... BUT i think i might register for a premium for 7$ to get the 20% off then i'll just cancel my memership. You think that's possible?
  21. haha yeah lucky me then. Honestly haven't looked into it but if anything i'll just try the website you're shipping it through and see how much it'll cost
  22. ahh yeah well he told me he's fine with selling me just the rear diffuser so lets hope he does so... fingers crossed lol
  23. Yeah John. He finally gAve in and said he's willing to sell the rear diffuser only for 870 USD
