well... im 18. "it appears we are going to get a solution." Im sorry but I think that the only solution I can see is a change in wheels, and thats pushing it. If Toyota got a software upgrade, well even I would get it, but you will be disappointed if you believed in it. I really do hope to see a solution to this problem and I ask for you to please keep us informed through your website. Hey... I hope im wrong. btw I have told many people about the "dangerous" spedometer error that there car has. They couldn't care less, because a large material item that we all bought has a problem if you want it to be or not. Yes I have minimised it by putting on larger wheels, cause I couldn't ignore it. good luck

WTF If toyota does not fix this guys problem he is gonna drive around with this ad around his yaris. The only major problem I can see is that he has sand stuck in his vagina.

Im not starting on anyone here but stuff what the speedo says. So yeah maybe its way off, then speed up. Im sorry if I dont understand why you might be upset but all cars have similar problems. They might not be 10km/h off but 5 or 3. Some car magazines have specs of the difference in actual speed compared to the indicated speed in the vehicle so tts not only Toyota. Try and view it as a safety factor given by Mechanical Designers.

If the Sedan is the only Yaris member to get the 1.8L, then all the more reason for an engine swap :D

A well known Toyota Dealer told me that the 1.8L engine is to only come out in the Sedan and not the hatch in Oz...

hey sup all, I not 100% sure but I think that this is just a widebody kit that you can buy for your Yaris not a TRD Yaris. I dont think you can get this kit here in Oz but with a few calls you can try import it in.

Just introducing myself, this is my 2006 Toyota Yaris. I have had it for a year, so there are plenty more mods on the way. Let me know what you think. My future plans are to force feed this little 1.5L engine, This can be done with a ZPI kit that is to be out shortly producing 180Hp which for a light yaris is quick enough for me.
