  1. :P LOL Roy, I miss my 1ZZ all the time ;) Can't ever forget first loves HA :P
  2. They were working on that though.
  3. It seems risky resurecting old favourites. It seems the new Type-R Honda has failed, but the new GTR has not. I hope Toyota can do it properly, with the Supra, Celica and whatever else they re-do.
  4. I had one, Was gonna cost $2800 per year paid upfront for full comprehensive with "Just Car Insurance" And I was paying around $5-600 a year for third party fire and theft. Cheers, C.j
  5. yarr, changed ISP, I'll get to it one day...
  6. "Anti-Lag System"? "Backfiring System"? I wouldn't go out of my way to vomit on that thing... looks terrible. Toyota have dropped the ball in terms of performance Ouch, not for everyone then. But I do agree, it seems all the 'fast' cars stopped being made 10 years ago, from most of the brands, not just Toyota.
  7. I have been to my local service department once with my last car. Didn't enjoy it at all. They were rude, overpriced, and I'm fairly sure they took my GT4 for a fang once they were done. All very annoying.
  8. But, but what about the FT-HS. Wheres the loyalty?? Although I do admit, they have been comparing the new GTR to Porsches when it comes to track speeds, very nice. And everyone knows the Legend of the Godzilla.

  10. “Changes in the strength of the Australian dollar affect all manufacturers and businesses have to manage that risk,” Mr Macfarlane said. I reakon thats about it, the companies should not be asking the government for money just cause our economy is getting stronger. Just cause they aren't making as much profit. They might have to put prices up to cover extra cost, but pulling out all together is rediculous.
  11. Just did that - Toyota - $442 All genuine parts I would assume. Ultratune - $381 All parts are equal or better. For example, they use genuine Toyota spark plugs and Magnatec oil. He said, because they do a lot of services on new cars, they have to use good parts etc to maintain the standard to keep your waranty etc.
  12. Forgot to clarify, I don't have any waranty issues, so I can take it wherever. And they stamp the handbook anyways. I have already taken my car to Ultratune for the last to 10k services, but wan't to know if its worth going to Toyota for the ones that require new parts. I assume Ultratune just use basic brand replacements, whereas Toyota use genuine parts. Cheers, C.j
  13. Hey guys, Just wanted to ask around here first. I am coming up to the 80k service on my Corolla Conquest, so that means all fluids, plugs, filters etc. Is there any benefit staying with Toyota to get the service done? or will Ultratune do just as good a job? I haven't got prices yet, but I would usually assume that Toyota would be more expensive? Cheers, C.j
