  3. really my levin sx doesnt have climate control oh no did i get ripped ? You didnt get ripped,i think he meant on the ZR.. I got my ZR April 08 for $28000 and just got free mats.. Still a good saving considering what original price was though.. Well done if they offered that I spend that extra and get one :)
  4. don;t worry i'm working my way up to a conquest hahahh
  5. It is quite relevant cause it gives me and indication or what or how low dealers can go and I start from there. Like the other guy that paid 26g well and you all say its too expnesive well, not knowing the situation he could of got a better deal, and he may have though 26g was a great deal. Ive been offered 24500 ascent driveaway. Now if i want parking sensors, safety and enhanced pack, mats, bonnet protector et can I get for 24g ???
  6. Hi, I'm just curious as to what drive away prices people are getting for corolla conquest hatch automatics ? And what bonus stuff you scored with you deal.......
  7. Just after some Drive away prices for a Corolla Hatch conquest with Auto from members here
  8. Well I can tell you that your car has already been thrashed before it even gets to the dealer. Why ? well all cars come off a boat that need to be unloaded. I see it with my own eyes workers thrashing cars off the boat because there on a tight schedule. for some funny reason I don't think they would warm the engine up before driving it off. Why and how do you determine thats its **** quality oil.....they put in from factory ? why would Toyota put **** oil to bed there engine parts. should be the opposite in my opinion. What has an ecu got to do with running your engine in ?. you disconnect your battery for 30mins and drive again it will adapt to your driving style...the same as when you put unleaded compared to premium unleaded to BP ultimate thats the ecu purpose. Just cause you strap you car at the start does not mean it will burn extra fuel for the rest of its life....... Tell me service intervals for a camry are 15000km, are you a person that will do it every 7500km or wait till 15000km. keep doing it at 15000km ?
  9. That guys right......drive it like you stole it. cars are run in from factory anyway. jump on any car performace forums and you will see answer. wrx, evo. I had and article here it is have a read http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm
  10. So after going to consumer affairs and telling of the situation...have you told Javis that you are going to consumer affairs have you put the pressure on and threatened them that you are pursuing this ??? I think you should tell them your going to go to your local paper and get them to do up a article on how bad your car is and the service of Jarvis. approach a reporter and tell them your situation, I'm sure they will be happy to do up one for you
  11. Not anymore its 130kph restricted limit now
  12. I Purchased my Black May 07 ZR6 exdemo with 5500K's. It had 18" wheels, sunroof, front and rear park sensors, Sat Nav, and 6 year warranty for 45,000.00. I love it, it has plenty of go compared to my XR6 and is 100kg's lighter. I think your pretty right with your figures go for warranty extension especially on an 06 model. Thanks for your reply, i have most of the things that you have except 6 year warranty and 18" Wheels, i will definetly get that, the additional thing i have is the paint and leather protection, but i will definetly upgrade my wheels, so any idea how much they cost around, and how much time they need to get fit in to the car. If I was in your shoes I would tell them to keep there paint protection and offer you the extended factory warranty, eg Extra care not dealer extended warranty..... Are you paying cash ? or are you trading a car in as well. This is a great time to do a deal as sales people are trying to meet or exceed there targets ... I don't know how badly you want this car or how many other people are looking at it but maybe trying to finalise it next monday would be idea I think... Extended warranty is well worth it in my opinion. A door regulator and motor that controls your power windows, in the long run if they stuff up, it like $500 for parts excluding labour. If you sunroof jams. I saw one a prado $1300 needed new sunroof rails all covered under extended warranty...... While toyota products are great, things to wear out...so I would push very hard for warranty or pay for it yourself
  13. At http://www.discountnewcars.com.au you can compare and research and get a better idea of pricing Rec.Ret Price $ 47350 Our Discount $ 2159 Net Price $ 45191 Dealer Delivery Fee for Toyota Aurion Sportivo ZR6: $1,695.00 Above is with Sat nav and sunroof So your looking at nearly 50g for full retail price or after discount about 47g drive away minus $1650 to that total cause you don't have sunroof and will disregard the paint protection as free and your looking at a total of $45500. round up to 46g to make it even with that said your saving about 5g. Now just because its a demo does not mean you can't go lower.... I would ask them to include toyota extra care 1-2-3 yrs would be great and give more of a discount....... I would offer $39000 to 39500 with some sort of extended warranty and i'll think you have a bargain on your hands............... If all else fails try to go for a brand new car and screw them for every drop if not satisfy with the saving go demo let us know how you go
  14. To know if you are getting a good deal, ring up another dealer and get them the spec up the same vehicle as if your intending on buying.....then try and bargain them down..... then compare the price difference..............nothing wrong with buying a demo as your car has warranty. I would certainly w0uld buy a demo if the price was right........ think about the people that buy a brand new cars lose 5g once out the door and have problems left right and centre. It really is the luck of the draw with getting a lemon or not these days.
  15. Government departments will start snapping them up for fleet, so Either way I don't think things are slowing down for the AT-X
  16. 1. lower you car 2. cross drilled or slotted discs 3 strut braces 4. extractors 5. aftermarket air filter 6. larger mags wheels .................................
  17. Your intervals are at 7500km same as camry's but you scheduled to keep your warranty intact is 15,000-30,000-45,000-60,000 Capped at $120. (YOUR NOT REQUIRED TO DO MINOR INTERNALS) you can do your car at 7500-22500 etc but be prepared to pay over $200 for a oil and filter change. Thats in Darwin anyway Sydney or else where might be a bit cheaper. They get ypu do it every 7500km is for profit its good for you car as well but your paying for it. Remember your 7500km service will not be $120 Capped it will be whatever the going rate is that they charge.
  18. Look at one today, in the flesh and sat it in, have not yet given it a drive, i'm sure it will be impressive as i'm impressed with the normal aurions themselves. But in all honesty....56g for the base is a bit too much.......for a car like that that feels like a normal aurion inside, well cause it is....the rims I like put that on a aurion SX6 and you have one hot looking car......
  19. We just had our TRD Aurions arrive today in Darwin , one black and one silver. Reminds me of how mazda have done up there MPS and differ it from the normal range. Will take a better look tomorrow as I was still working when it arrived
  20. Soloman I saw your can in the workshop today..............with your plate nice looking car. I gonna get an aurion as well later on....did u get a good deal with yours ?
  21. The light should be wired to the common light dimmer unit as all radios have this application at the rear wiring....if this has been neglected it would be a simple issue to splice said wire to the dimmer power. The actual power to the sound system unit is seperate. Yes it sounds simple, but really I don't know about other dealerships but up here, we just replace the whole unit, if its faulty we replace it with a new one under warranty.
  22. Hello my name is Ben I'm a service advisor at Toyota. After recently taken an Aurion home to test for 1 night, I share your same opinion. The solution to this is to tell the service department to order you a replacement fujitsu model. I can't remember if the original system was Fujitsu model or not. But that model the light is dimmer and not as bright. The only downside is that if its daylight you won't be able to see it, not that I noticed much difference. Hope this helps
