Thanks for the info guys. It's all the friggin road noise thats getting to me, tyre roar, transmission rumble and whine, it's as if they forgot to put enough sound deadening in on the production line, just sounds cheap and tinny. I didn't realise the dealer doesnt get paid by Toyota if he cant actually find a faulty part, and I also see that noise issues are not covered by warranty, it says so in the owners handbook, so it looks like an aftermarket solution, I'll try Strathies tomorrow, just want to get a bit of refinement into it. Some dude was writing in last weeks Fridays Herald-sun motoring liftout, complaining about the same thing, and the HS response was that it was due to Toyotas poor soundproofing and the general body design of the new Corollas, changing tyres etc wont help.
