  1. What did the fluid look like? More detail would be helpful. If it was green it was probably just anti-boil/anti-freeze.
  2. Hi there, I have just completed the exact same installation. I put a keyless entry/alarm into my 1985 Tarago. I went down to my local auto electrician who was very helpful and told me what to do. I'm not exactly sure why or how it worked but it involved two relays and the lock/unlock switch acting as the trigger. You need to wire up one of the relays to trigger the open and the other does the close. As I said I'm not sure how it worked but I reckon if you drop into your local auto elec and ask, there's no reason why they won't help. Also, be careful because once its installed the switch will no longer work. And if you accidentally press it like I did you will blow the electric windows and sunroof. Now I have to pull my dashboard out and find what blew... Fun and games so be careful.
  3. Hi guys, Was just wondering if a rear bull bar with integrated towbar from an 88 Tarago would fit on my 85?
  4. Hey, I've got a 97 Camry running pedders sports rider springs, they are great! Stiffened up the ride heaps, didn't need to replace shocks as they were still at 80%. Lowered the car about 35mm. Would have been nicer if it was lower but with 17 x 7.5's it was a snug fit to say the least :) Mike.
  5. Hey there Michael, I've got an 85 tarago and do all my own work. Its really easy to do your basic fluid changes like oil, transmission and diff. If you have a look on eBay theres sure ti be a cheap manual for your car, they come up all the time. Get yourself a Gregory's I've found them to be the easiest to understand. If you want to do something easy start by changing your oil. Remember to replace the oil filter too and look in your handbook to see what sort of oil to use. Take it easy, Mike.
  6. Hey Guys, Does anyone know how to remove the tarago front windscreen? Will I need to replace the seal or use some kind of sealant when I put it back in? There's some rust in the front and I'd like to repair it myself. Thanks, Mike.
