  1. I ended up getting a pair of Continental MC6’s for the front. I must say they make a world of difference!
  2. Thank you both for the information. I really appreciate the time taken in responding. Your opinions have definitely given me some more specifics to go on. Will definitely post what tyres I end up getting. Again thanks so much!
  3. Now that is a nice looking ‘Faye’! Looks in pristine condition. Thank you for sharing!
  4. Thank you very much for the welcome KAA. What a truly wonderful group this is!
  5. Hi everyone, I’ve been looking and reading posts on here and reviews on standard tyre review websites and I haven’t got a clue…maybe I’m a simpleton, but I can’t work it out. I need to change my tyres (215/55 R17 93V)on my new (to me) Aurion . Like most people, I’m looking for low noise, good in wet and dry, slow wearing, with a bit of performance when I feel like giving it a little squirt. Does such a tyre exist or am I only dreaming. Sorry for my lack of brain power regarding this and thank you in advance for sharing your wisdom.
  6. Thank you Twixter! I was able to pull the console out and get a pen and an old business card out of the cup holders. Operating like new now! Thanks to you, I am one happy camper again! Much appreciated!
  7. Thank you very much for the information. I will give it a crack this evening. I’m a bit hesitant but having the lids not opening properly is annoying me so will definitely try your way and then maybe take out the whole console if required. Thank you for your welcoming message. I’m liking the car so much that I just want to keep driving it. I’m based on the Gold Coast…the busy part of the state. Will also check out the Facebook page. Wasn’t aware of that one so thank you!
  8. Hi all, New to Toyota with a 2011 Aurion Touring SE. I’m super excited to be driving this car, it’s smooth, handles well and has plenty of grunt under the bonet. So far very impressed. It’s super great to make your acquaintance thank you for a great forum. Hope to chat to you all soon!
  9. Hi everyone. Newbie here. I have just bought a July 2011 Aurion Touring SE with low K’s and am absolutely loving it. The car is pristine inside and I’m really happy with it. I’ve only had it for a week and already something has fallen down the back of the lid on both the double cup holder near the gearshift and also the single holder just in front of the armrest. As a result neither of the lids open fully. Is there any way to get the lids off to unblock them? Thank you in advance.
