  1. I have a 1997 camry (3vzfe) that stumbles on cold start, its supposed to go to 2k then drop to 1k after warming up but that's not happening. After its fully warmed up it idles fine at around 1k. Ive tried cleaning the throttle body, IAC(Replaced it after cleaning didn't work), air intake hoses, filter. but still I am getting the same issue. 20240420_170433.mp4
  2. Ah I see, I had no idea aisan was related to toyota. I initially thought it was clone of aisin or smth
  3. I have a 1997 Camry vienta with a 3vzfe. My idle air controller is gone and I'm looking for a replacement. I came across an AISAN ISC 069 and was wondering if it's oem like denso? if not then is it a good replacement? I have also looked at GOSS and Tridon and was wondering which of them is better. Also what aftermarket brand is good in genera PAT, GOSS or tridon? cause I can't find may toyota parts for my car so I need to rely on these
  4. Hi, I have a 1996 Toyota camry vienta (3vzfe) with 230k kms and this morning when I was going to work the car died on me. I tried starting it wasn't starting. I tried again this time giving it a bit of gas and it started, every time it slows down it dies but starts again after I crank it whilst giving it some gas. what do you guys reckon the fault could be? the battery doesn't seem to be an issue as the headlights and radio are working on accessory position, apart from this issue I haven't noticed anything else, the car was running perfectly fine yesterday. I was thinking of tightening the throttle cable to try running the car for now, is it a bad idea? Cheers.
  5. Hey everyone, I have a 1996 Toyota vienta (v6 3vzfe camry) and my rear struts are done for, I was looking around for a good suspension setup for it but have no Idea also I'm running 17" rims on it from a ford territory, I found some cheap coilovers by maxspeedingrods but have no Idea if they're good or not. Was looking for suggestions, also any workshop manuals for this car would also be great. Cheers.
  6. Thanks for answering, for the oil the owner's manual suggests 10w-30 all the way up to 20w-50. I found castol gtx 20w-50 grade for 50$ so I might use that, as for the oil filter I can't find toyota genuine ones in my area and don't want to wait for it to get shipped. I'm thinking of using K&N although I have no idea if they are good or not.
  7. Hey guy, I recently purchased a 1996 toyota vienta (3vzfe) and I'm planning on giving it a service. Do you guys have any recommendations for oils and filters? I'm thinking of getting a 10w-30 oil for it as in melb rn it gets pretty hot, I'm still deciding of what brand of oil and oil filter to use, and I can't find any info on cabin filter. Was wondering what you guys run with, cheers.
