  1. didnt grimlock dyno it and got abotu 115kw at the wheels???? wouldnt that equate to about 150-160kw @ the fly?
  2. yea i noe.. but not all of them 1/4mile their car. i want a 14.9 out of the rolla then i could be happy with it...
  3. i've lookd at the 1/4 mile time slips and compared it to the yanks. how come our timeslips are so much better than theirs? i read somewhere that the stock corolla with a 1zz and supercharger only did 16.8 and a stock rolla does 18sec. if im doin 16.6... with my current tune. or a tiny bit better with camcon. if i plus a supercharger to it.. and lets say add 40hp or 40kw to the motor ( i dunno wat these thing put out at the motor) . would that get me into the low 15s.? Ie 15.3-4?
  4. i dun understand wats goin on.... If ur upgrading to a evo brembo caliper. how will the caliper safely sit on the current mounts if it is 130mm spaced apart? and theirs is different. i guess u could run the ST205 dics with redrilled holes to fit our 4 stud pattern if the brembos fit..
  5. i found a wreker that has a ST205 half cut. do u think he could just sell me the just the calipers instead of the whole hlaf cut?

  8. last week, i let my mate test drive my car. 2mins later. he crashed it due to over speeding into the a small park? it mounted the gutter. pop'd 3 tyres and crackd and buckled them too. lucky there was a tiny bit of body damage (Scratches) on the bottomlip. i got new rims, got the wheels aligned. until todai the car still doesnt feel the same. when i turn. the car feels really unresponsive. when i cruise at 80k's. and i swerve a lil bit. it seems like the car is on jelly. before the accident. it was firm and agile. wat can the problem be???? Front Sway Bar bent? Bushes Worn? Something to do with the power steering?
  9. damn.. it is so hard to find those calipers u got from the AE101 superstrut.. or the GT4 calipers... if only they were heaps more common. ima gonna keep searching.. btw.. are is200 calipers 130mm as well?
  10. do the GT4 caliper bolt straight on? do u noe what the spaceing for the caliper mounts are? 100mm between the two bolts?
  11. are there places where i can get custom mounts made for the brake calipers? keeping on a budget. i had in mind.. the supra RZ 4 pot calipers.

  14. is there a major diff in handling when i increase the size of the rim? the width of the tyre is wider though. 195 vs 215. when i turn.. its not as responsive or sharp. could my wheels be the problem?
  15. wat are the effects of worn bushes? my car feels weird... doesnt turn as quick and its not nimble. when i drive. it feels like my butt is on butter.

  17. yes it is lowerd on "LOWS" on stock shocks. yes they are 17's. wat is the difference between painting normally and powder coating it? i hear u guys talk aboutu it but unsure of the diff. wasnt me driving it.
  18. i got some new rims after a accident. they are silver. but i was thinking of painting them black. wat u think? all my other rims buckled and poped except for 1.
  19. it "feels" like there is more? sounds top quality...an SOB to tune and uncertain gains as others have already mentioned, for the money, if you are just looking for some extra power beyond an exhaust/intake then the emanage is the next best place to start... its a really weird unit. i tried the setting that the prev owner used. it was very jumpy from about 3 to 3.5. then the power dies off then back on again. tunehouse in marrickville will do the job for 320 until they are satisfied with the gains. btw.. i got everything cheap. exhaust, intake, camcon. so its not a big deal for me. 250 for the unit. thats pretty cheap. emanage is too expensive for me, dyno tune and install as well.

  21. uploaded the baseline map for the 1zz motor.. boy.. it feels smoother than before.. it feels like there is more bottom to midrange torque.. but i could be wrong.. need a dyno to test it...
  22. hmm... did some street tune.. playing around with it.. a@ 3000rpm.. there is a big jump in power and feel... i think its making more power... then it dies of at 4.. then kicking back in at 4.5... i think its a good product.. if u noe how to tune it right..
  23. cheap cheap like two fitty... btw... where do i earth the thing? anywhere near the glove box where i can wire it to.?
  24. got it today.. its really small... now.. its a matter of installing and dyno'ing....
