Old topic, hopefully someone replies. Question is, can u fit the overseas grills onto 04 sportivo? like the ones they sell on ebay from the U.S.

Atm on ebay there selling JDM grilles, just wondering if they fit? im looking for the grill that looks hollow? Like the TRD ones that everyone on this site happens to have.lol

hi guys, the rims are 17 inch lenso apex 5 i think, and their on a 04 corolla sportivo?

any idea how much psi i should put into the tyres? ive been putting in around 38psi.Anyway thats what i set it to on the digital tyre pressure thing at bp.

hi guys, anyone know where i can get the toyota devil badge to fit a 04 corolla? looked on the net,only found over seas, wondering if there was any in sydney for sale? if not i was thinking of going to metal shop and see if they can cut me one and chrome it.wanna replace my stock badges.

sorry if its been covered, tried searching under petrol, nothing came up that i noticed.

Anyone invited? Jus toyotas? sportivos? or whateva?

Got a 04 sportivo

Only talking about 98 octane.(premium/ultra whatever you want to call it)

Any different car performance using different petral stations fuel. e.g my mate owned a tuned up r33 gtst and reckons that if he uses any other fuel besides shell servos his car runs like crap?

Any similar stories? would really like to find out, atm i go BP. seems alright, i know not to go to any small independant servos.

ok, so what if i do happen to put a normal 04 corolla air filter in? (it does have one doesnt it?) will it be of any benefit or do absolutely nothing?

hi guys, got a 04 sportivo. happend to take out my glove box door thingy the other day to check the air con filter, i slid out the little box thing and noticed that it was just empty? no filter or sponge or anything?

So i went over to toyota, went to the counter and asked the guy for a filter, he reckons that only the corollas have the actually air con filter and the sportivos subosebly dont need one and didnt come out with one yet it still has the compartment to put one in?

Is this guy an idiot or anyone else with a sportivo have the same deal with no air con filter?

Hi guys. just got an 04 sportivo.

My plans are to put in a 800rms clarion monoblock powering 2x12inch pioneer subwoofers (each 400wat rms)

+ a cheap 4 channel amp. most likely a sony around 3-400 watts to run the 4 door speakers which most likely ill be putting in around 200wat splits in the front and just normal 200wat 6s in the back.

with all this running off of 4 guage from the batt.

Is the alt and battery capable enough to handle the system or am i going to kill something really quick??

I might also put a cap in later on, but for the moment i can deal with having dimming headlights if so be it.lol

how many clips? it looks like theres a few wider/big ones and some little ones. i tried pushing them all through with no luck,im just afraid i might snap something

ey, im round hurzi way. I washed her today, looking sweet lol.

btw any1 got any idea on how to unclip the front grill? one of the brackets thats meant to hold it in has snapped and i cant manage to take out the grill. ive unscrewed the 3 screws on the top of it but cant release the bottom half, it looks like its got some sort of clips

yeh it was serviced every 10 thous on the dot pretty much, next ones due soon. i picked it up for 18gs. its immaculate its just that the speakers in it have been changed and the tweaters ripped out and theres 2 pairs of black cables hanging under the dash taped up and i want to know what they were for, also there is speak cable running behind the dash as well.

Besides that everythings clean. the car looks well maintained, he wasnt a smoker because the cigarette lighter and ashtray are brand new but yes i do feel a lil uneasy, not worried so much but i wouldnt mind contacting the guy anyway just for those few questions.

The rims are Lenso apex-5 17in, they look alright but she really needs to be dropped a few inchs. Wanna go 18s but worried about guard rub and the extra weight the car will need to pull.

Just wanted to say hello as this will be my first post. Just bought an 04 Sportivo about a week ago, searched around the net and found this forum and going nuts over how much i wanna do to this car now.lol (this sites given me too many ideas, hopefully my wallet can keep up...................alotta ovatime to do now. :( )

I went to a few exhaust places in the last week,they all reckon that i should just change the cat (all they said was a high flow one) and muffler as the piping and the extractors on stock sportivos dont really need to be changed as i wouldnt notice much performance gain. Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly apprieciated.

Also is it cool to jus run a straight pipe from the air filter box to under the front bumper and remove the original piping or will it cause serious problems? We did it on my mates sss pulsar and it seems to go a better.

P.s Should the 04 sportivo have a "Sportivo" badge on the back of it? cause i only got them on the side skirts. All the back has is "toyota", "corolla" and the toyota symbol
