  1. I know I have level adjusting located on the dash knee height near the door. I'm not sure about projector lights tho, does anyone own a sedan who knows? Or is willing to take a look for me? :D I don't really mind how much I spend, as long as it looks good kekekekeke Cheers, Jase
  2. *bump* Is there anyone in Perth who is willing to lend a helping hand to a poor Curtin Univeristy Student install HID headlamps or give advice or any cheap alternatives to make my headlights look cool white/blue? It's all a learning process...It's the 2ZR Corolla, so I'm not sure if they already come with HID compatible lamps. I don't live far :D (depending on where you're located) ^.^ Cheers, Jase
  3. not really, but they do take it to the limit every corner every lap for 20-30 something laps + time trials + trial laps. i don't think they replace it every race. my old man's mate used to drive for beemar in the macau open, they recondition it 3-5 times depending on how the engine copes after a race b4 replacing majority of its components.
  4. Haha okay Jeremy I can ask for you :) As for the engine bay being tight...yes it is...and no its not? The top bit where you see all the plastic covers you can actually take off (i.e. the black cover in front of the fan), which is quite a large area. Although for a 1.8litre car, I have to admit it is quite a large block (all the technology these days :) ). I used to own a 95 Camry Vienta Touring Series V6, THAT was tight. My family mechanic had huge arms and he had trouble reaching around for things :D Speaking of which, does anyone here know how to install HID headlights? Anyone wanna help? I have no idea... Regards, Jase
  5. Hi MissLevin, I got it done by one of my co-worker's good friend who worked at Brian Wallis Autotainment in Vic Park. He only does exhaust to general customers, but because it was a friend of a friend he was willing to do my springs as well. Maybe you can go ask them if they still do it? Thanks, Jase
  6. Thanks bozurolla, I thought it was rather expensive too. Would anyone happen to know where I can get a CAI custom fitted to my car and do a reasonably good job? I don’t mind paying a little bit extra if it means they can guarantee doing a good job, if you know what I mean. What would be a reasonable price to get a CAI installed? Also, I'm looking to getting new Mag's once the tyres on these 16"s are worn out. Does anybody know any good deals around Perth? :D Cheers, Jase
  7. hey! haha :D wow there's a few from perth. i heard cypher's is really good too, but is $770 a bit too expensive? i don't have a clue. i get told i can get CAI done for $500 easy. also, have hks and blitz produced any worthy snap ons for the rolla yet? or if they're going to??!?! and have u guys heard anything bad about a magnaflow system? *shrugs* im so clueless XD anyway yea guys i'd definitely be keen to come for a cruise some time, providing other work/social committments don't get in the way heheheh hopefully in a few months people will start selling mods for this car on ebay :)
  8. Hi guys :) I'm new to this whole forum so just wanted to say hi to everyone first of all. im from perth and work at worley parsons and go to curtin uni final year commerce at the same time. Anyway, I recently bought a new 2zr corolla conquest silver...well try September last year. I was just wondering if there are any mods (besides the obvious cat back and cai) available that could add a teeny weeny bit of power into the little beast? probably a bit early but thought i'd ask you guys after coming across the website a few days ago. i also got a straight thro 2.25in cat back with magnaflow exhaust installed for $380. is that a good price and are they any good? i've got a few mates who said its quite reasonable. the piping took a very similar (if not the exact) line of the stock system so yeah. also lowered it with king springs for $350. i'm now thinking about gettin a CAI installed custom fitted with k&n pod filter installed at cyphers (to those in perth who know which shop im talking about), but they quoted me $770 and i thought it was rather expensive... i'm still rather new to this whole modding car scene, so please do give some good suggestions if you can! i'll see if i can get around to uploading a picture of my car so far to those who are interested. thanks and hope to talk to you guys soon! :D regards jase
