u can turbo any car if you are willing to dig deep into your pockets, as for having an auto and BOV are used as a turbocharged application only not for naturally aspirated engines but if you have a turbo you will still be able to hear it when it changes gear but it wont be as poignant and hoonish as say a fully sik wrx (manual) would be

ull only go fast when u put ur foot down, but i have an 03 levin and ive loved it since the day i drove it, as for what ur looking for mine has all those things and i cannot complain about it. the main differance between the 1zz and 2zz is when u go over 6000rpm where the LIFT starts, so up to you really if u want the economy just dont rev it abouve 6k because its pretty good for consumption, but ull need a levin if u are that adament about having an auto.

i was going to put my airbox back in, just for the fact that i put my foot down abit too often just the hear the noise from the cai, i should get new headers and exhaust aswell, but i can definately agree with the power in the higher rpm range andmost noisy at 3000-5500rpm

obviously there will be a differance with a differant motor, the 2zz puts out an extra 30kw at the wheels than the 1zz therfore the power gains will be numerically less but relatevely the same percentaage wise. but just try searching the forum next time ;)

toyota have the worst listening skills. listen up you corperate fat cats we want our sportivo back in any way shape or form(as long as its a corolla and not a rav 4 or a yaris)

whatever id prefer having any tivo colour compared to mine but i reckon my paint so so much cooler, it looks silver in the sun but grey when it rains but greeny blue at night with light reflecting off it

nah i like it black because i have black everywhere, on mirrors, windows are dark tint then the sills are black so i figure it'll have a black on blue look

i personally prefer the HSV Combo

my pleasure, ive painted mine red they loook soo nice now. but easiest way is to DIY without taking the brakes off, just make sure u cover the partss u dont want sprayed

daviboys ride thread shows pretty indepth of what he did with his calipers.

for getting rid of the grime, muck and whatever is on the calpiers, i used engine drgreaser. worked like a charm with a rough brush of some knid, steel or non is ok.

purchased new grille and the TRD Quick Shifter Kit

shifter is exellant 10/10 and u get a gear knob inside as a bonus ;)

Also now i have blue vision bulbs in low beams, parkers and foggies

saw a red sportivo at maquarie centre aprox 7:30, and a silver one at 3:30 in the same spot what a coincidence

the levin ones look so much better thaan the ascent ones but id prefer the sportivo ones in my levin personally

i put it on the actual bumper and waited for it to dry it was alot darker than that of the origional colour which was somewhat weird. i have just given up trying to do the spraying it just wont match colour :(:(:(:(:(

i went to auto one in ryde and they tryed un sucessfully i was there for hours for them to try and match the colour which was most annoying but ill just get the stuff done properly instead
