  1. when you buy a 20 year old car you should expect to spend a bit fixing it at times.
  2. welcome! very nice looking car there, im loving that orange.
  3. hahaha getting a little fired up there! personaly i would not like there to be 500-600+ people posting at any one time. make one post, check on it the next day and the thread would be 4 pages long.. yes, im exaggerating
  4. i have to say manual, while i was in perth i owned an auto and just got sick of it. when i started looking for a car after i got back here i would not even look at buying another auto.

    dent

i walked out the front today to see a dent about the size of a small dinner plate just next to my back left tyre.. also a few small scrapes going from the bumper to the dent. i assume it would have happened saturday night/sunday morning. had a mates 21st party and there were quite a few cars parked right next to each other, and people coming and going all through the night, some of those people were drunk as they left.. does anyone have a rough idea of prices for panal beaters to repair the dent? ive never had to get that kind of work done on a car.. cheers.
  6. does anyone know what it is that i have to do to tilt the headlights up a little? ive already turned the little thing next to the lights as far up as they will go, but they still point slightly to the ground. do i undo the nuts a little on the arm that pushes the lights up as i turn them on or is it the bolts at the top and bottom of the light itself?
  7. yeah everyone keeps telling me it would look better with the spoiler, i quite like the look without one though, different. i think the only let down with the car ive found so far is not having a cd player. i HATE radio music, so that is the first thing that will need to be done :)
  8. yeah, to keep the warranty i need to get a service either every 5000k or 3 months, depending on what comes first.
  9. i thought 4200 was quite a bit, but its the warranty added on that put it up i guess. yeah the rust is right at the front right on the sunroof. cheers for the heads up :)
  10. yeah 3S-GE, paid $4200, its got a years warranty on it though, covers the whole car. its done 189000k, all new tyres(including spare), feels like new suspention, although he did not mention it. drives very smoothly. in and out of gears without any problems. TINY bit of rust on the sunroof, other than that the car is rust free, and very clean underneath. immaculate interior, umm.. i dont really know what else to say?
  11. i hope this works.. ive never uploaded images to a furom like this.
  12. congrats to your brother, i hope the baby was not in the car aswell? good luck with the car
