  1. Got my best record so far in the trip from brisbane to caloundra (about 130KM) highway, rainy, 7.8 L/100KM. I normally get around 9L at highway, and about 12L at suburb roads.
  2. Great color! I got the same color for my KRX :). If you have paint protection on your kluger, probably should not wax it.
  3. you are 50% right, :). because the $150 only apply within three years, which means got to reach 60K within 3 years. The reason I ask is I am considering to take novated lease, so if within three years I could reach up the mileages, it means another little saving coming from the lease.
  4. -- Sorry I have post it in the outer forum wrongly, can anyone help to remove that one? Hi, Just in case someone know, What/When is the major maintenance for Kluger? 50000 KM? or 60000KM? Thanks first.

  6. my first tank fuel consumption is 12.3, not bad considering it is mostly suburb ride with about 20% highway.
  7. If they made a simple call to the technical people at head office would have told them this..... but, it wouldn't have made them $$ telling you this information as I said, they can't make their money selling your "clear" tint. Like wearing clothes made of invisible cotton and people would pay for it... (1) Windshield Colour Glass : Green Type : Laminated UV Cut Rate : 99 % Solar Heat Reduction Rate : 47.8 % Visible Light Transmission Rate: 78.9 % (2) Sliding Roof Colour Glass : Gray Type : Tempered UV Cut Rate : 95.4 % Solar Heat Reduction Rate : 78.5 % Visible Light Transmission Rate: 18.9 % (3) Front Door Colour Glass : Green Type : Tempered UV Cut Rate : 91.8 % Solar Heat Reduction Rate : 55.5 % Visible Light Transmission Rate: 72.8 % (4) Rear Door Privacy Colour Glass : Privacy Type : Tempered UV Cut Rate : 96.8 % Solar Heat Reduction Rate : 82.2 % Visible Light Transmission Rate: 20.8 % (5) Rear Quarter Privacy Colour Glass : Privacy Type : Tempered UV Cut Rate : 90.2 % Solar Heat Reduction Rate : 78.2 % Visible Light Transmission Rate: 23.6 % (6) Back Door Privacy Colour Glass : Privacy Type : Tempered UV Cut Rate : 95.9 % Solar Heat Reduction Rate : 89.6 % Visible Light Transmission Rate: 11.1 % Many thanks, then no point to do any tinting, it saved me $$$ BTW,how do you got such detail information?
  8. I am generally very happy with my new KXR except a few minor issues: 1) the fabric patten of the seats looks bit.... I don't want to use "cheap", but it is a bit loose. Although it is really comfortable, it could looks better if Toyota put a little more effort. 2) the KXR instrument panel is too plastic, again a little more design will make a difference. 3) the car come with dark color window, but the dealer told me they don't know how much UV protection it come with, and they don't know how to find the info.
  9. Thanks Scott, will talk to ebay seller as well.
  10. hi, anyone have bought roof rail seperatly and installed it DIY? Can share your experience? Thanks first
  11. I got a few pages manual when pickup the car, the front sensor is quite useful.
  12. I have a AWD Grande in Merlot Red, if you saw the red on a RAV4 it is lighter and has a more metallic appearance. However I am very happy with mine. Thanks. Haven't really look at my new car under sun, it is claudy these days. :). I assume that all kluger will use metallic paint althought it is claimed that metallic paint is optional, is that correct?
  13. suprisingly, I got my Feb 08 built kluger KXR within two weeks after ordering.
