They are asking 250-300 each fitted. Is that any good???

I have a few probs with my luxxy gear box. Just every now an then i get a clunk and all that. Same sort of thing that your getting. My way around it is to just be firm but gentle when changing gears. THe only problem there is when you drive another car and than get back in the lux and forget you start quick shifting again B) HAHA

Well its kinda hard to tell, it depends on what sort of driving you do? What sort of load you carry? and What size are the tyres?

Do give you an indication though.... My Lux is the 22R, i am running 31" tyres... I drive from my place to school and back every day and usually around at the weekends. I probably do about 250k's a week... I fill up once every 2 weeks. Usually about halfway through the second week. So its not as thirsty as i thought it would be.

My advice, if its not a Diesel hilux... Dont turbocharge it. But V8Toy might know where to get a turbocharger for the petrol.

i havent had heaps to do with the newer models simply cause i wasnt a fan of the ifs front end i just know they used to leave my little engine behind lol

but yeah im sure u'll be able to find something just how much do ya wanna spend personally id go to a performance shop and get somethin fabricated onto it

better yet i could hook u up with a toyota v8 to slot in they the ducks nuts
