I wouldnt go genuine - Way too pricey.. They wanted $2000 to replace the clutch in my luxxy. If its logbook service your after, see ultratune.. If just general service - Go independent! DAVE

Ahh yes.. The 2.7.. Nice one! Shouldn't really be anything to look out for man.. They are a pretty reliable van! The only thing i would say is the auto trans.. Just ensure all levels are topped up.. :-) Have fun!
Haha.. Yer.. The 33's make it so much better off road! Can finally do some good *****! HAHA The kit i got is a custom kit.. Its the 2" Leafs, 3" Shackles, RS5000's all round, New Bush's and U-Bolts, Brake Lines, Torque bar and Drag Link for about $2,600... Will be 8"'s with my body blocks :-) Cant wait till it comes so i can fit it! Haha... Sounds good man.. Ill have to buy another car soon.. All these mods are gonna take ages and atm my lux is my daily! Haha
Nice one! Its goin awesome man... Chucked some Maxxis 33' muddies on it.. Bloody lovin it.. 3" body lift and just ordered about 7"'s or suspension lift from Snake Racing.. Gonna be awesome! Need a 1uz but! 2.4L petrol is gettin a bit gutless HAHA
Hey Mate, Solid Axles are brilliant! So good off road.. get some flexing happening.. And dont have too many suspension components to worry about... the (wishbone) suspension you are referring to is called IFS (Independent Front Suspension) From what i can remember they stopped making solid axle at around the 1993 model mark i think.. Im not 100% sure on that though.. Def go solid axle though mate.. Easier to to suspension upgrades on aswell... For example 7"'s of lift for mine is only gonan cost me about 2500 buks.. Where as for an IFS im sure it would be a hell of a lot more if not impossible!
Im gettin mine from EFS... 3"... Shocks, leafs, ext brake lines, steering dampener, Torque rod, the whole lot.. Fitted, balanced everything... Drive in, drive out.. 3g's Bundled with my 3" body lift.. She'll be high!
So i woke up this morning and had an urge to rust proof the inside of of my ute, (and dry under the lino from all the water that got in a while ago).... SO I DID! Haha
First i took out the drivers side seat.... So much crap under there!!
Then.. out came the passenger seat and all the lino...
Only to find a **** load of ants under the lino!!! Obviously they were eating all my leftover mcdonalds from years gone by! HAHA! I had never seen so many ants in one spot at one time... So i gave them a quick spray and ant sanded everywhere..
I then rememberd that from doing the 3" body lift a while ago that i hadnt't quite go my gear shift boot on properly... So off it came..
After getting any surface rust off with the wire brush it was time for the rust proofing paint...
And bobs ya auntie! Rust proooooofed!
Do a few more little things like screw my cb speaker down rather than floating around the passenger side floor.... Clean up any wiring.. Too easy! Rust proofed, cleaned and ready to go!
Its the easiest thing to do and so worth it! If you havent done it and you take your ute through (puddles) i highly recommend doing it!
