Aye man, I have a few probs with my luxxy gear box. Just every now an then i get a clunk and all that. Same sort of thing that your getting. My way around it is to just be firm but gentle when changing gears. THe only problem there is when you drive another car and than get back in the lux and forget you start quick shifting again B) HAHA V8Toy may have a more informative answer LOL! I just rambling HAHAHA!!!!!

i wish lol i woulda bombed the older 22r lol i havent had heaps to do with the newer models simply cause i wasnt a fan of the ifs front end i just know they used to leave my little engine behind lol but yeah im sure u'll be able to find something just how much do ya wanna spend personally id go to a performance shop and get somethin fabricated onto it better yet i could hook u up with a toyota v8 to slot in they the ducks nuts Whats engine model number of a Toyota V8?

Over here in QLD it is now a minimum L period of 12 mths!!! Im so lucky i just missed that! But that thing after midnight has been going on over here for ages, in a different way though. You can drive between those hours, but you cannot drive those hours with people of the same peer group in your car..... Easy to get around that when you just say they are your cousins or something HAHA.

Well its kinda hard to tell, it depends on what sort of driving you do? What sort of load you carry? and What size are the tyres? Do give you an indication though.... My Lux is the 22R, i am running 31" tyres... I drive from my place to school and back every day and usually around at the weekends. I probably do about 250k's a week... I fill up once every 2 weeks. Usually about halfway through the second week. So its not as thirsty as i thought it would be.

My advice, if its not a Diesel hilux... Dont turbocharge it. But V8Toy might know where to get a turbocharger for the petrol. Good luck with it!!!

Nice! Sounds like you got a couple of beasts happenin there!!! Do you have any decent pics of em? Wanna c what they look like with 6" lifts on em... Especially the 1990 model, probs looks exactly mine, except for the lift...and spotties HAHA..

Thanks mate!!! Yer, i love checkin there sites out aswell! Yah, im in the great state of QLD!!! YEOW GO MAROONS!! Anyway..... What model Lux's you got anyway??? Nah man! The more stickers the better i reckon!!! Haha! (only got the one myself, shame!) With regards to the phone bill, i just rang telstra and they said they would be happy to fund the 2 week long call.. :P :P HAHA!
