  1. Yeah, but you got a TRD, I wouild have gone without the extras if the boss agreed to the 3500S... Oops, i looked at the picture and assumed you had a TRD. I wouldn't have complained if the boss said no to the ZR6 and got me an SX6 as he is a Toyota man (every company car has to be Toyota) which left me little to choose from as I didn't want 4WD anymore.
  2. lol, Apparently they (the cows) are the reason behind global warming. 'I'll carve off what i want then ride the rest home' Quote - Dennis Leary - No Cure for Cancer
  3. Thanks DJKOR, one more question (off topic) how do you get the pictures of your car to show up under you replies/posts?
  4. Well done not only for the time but for doing it somewhere where it should be done. Did you get that time by using Sportshift? How do you turn off traction control?
  5. Horses for courses but leather seats all the way for me to. The dual climate zone is real handy if you have a missus. Keyless entry and push button locking is an added bonus. I didn't upgrade to the Sat Nav package (the old Navman does the trick) but upgraded to the 6 stacker with built in mobile phone (bluetooth) which is great. I tried talking the boss into the TRD (as my previous company car was a GXL Prado) and he said an SX6 would do (he didn't like the idea of Premium Unleaded with the TRD) so we came to a compromise with the ZR6. One of the other boys has an SX6 and beleive me, for the added creature comforts it's worth spending the extra few K.
  6. I will do that but i was wondering if someone had come accross it before so i can let the dealer know (if they don't already know)...
  7. I am just curious if anyone may have come accross a sort of tapping sound that comes from the front drivers side airbag when doing between 60-80km/h? I have looked under the car for anything that may be hooked up, checked the tyres for stones all to no avail. The noise isn't too loud but can be heard by the passenger and it disappears once the window is lowered. Any ideas?
  8. I recently did a trip from the Gold Coast to Cairns and back with a wife, kid and car loaded to the hilt. The trip computer readings were fluctuating between 8.5L/100km and at one stage it was sitting on 8L/100km on the way back (must be because it's downhill). I had cruise control on sitting approx 2-3k's over the speed limit. I was sitting 2-3K's over as the GPS, I have been told, is more accurate than the cars speedo however every now and then I had to put the boot in to overtake some grey nomads and some 'Wicked' vans. I should have recorded the distance between tank fills, I got 660k's from top up with just under a qtr of a tank remaining but i don't pay for fuel so i didn't care.
  9. G'day guys and gals, new to the forum. On the Gold Coast at Helensvale (near Movieworld) I saw an unmarked Chrysler 300C (Black) pulling over a work ute on the M1 all lights flashing. At the local cop shop at Coomera, they have Prado's, SS Ute's and a ZR6 exact same colour as mine without tinted windows. They are also getting out on the dirt bikes and nabbing all the rec riders in the hills. On a recent trip to Melbourne near Tullamarine Airport, I saw an R1 (unmarked) pulling some ****** over. Then I quickly became a ****** when i got a red light ticket at the set of lights just as you turn into the parking lots at the airport. Gotta be careful...
