what happened to the tough hilux from top gear????
Its on their set like a trophy, hung from the wall
-
4 x T10's and a T5 from memory
-
Actually u can go through to a +45 offset and i think the AU Falcon wheels onwards are +45s ish, the Pre Au's are +30 to 35 from memory
-
Those projector headlights in the grey Gen3 cost just shy on a grand too make
-
I had/have the same problem again, ive already had to replace and indicator Flasher Relay, bout $30 (non-genuine, genuine $125 :o ). I have an auto electrician mention to me that it could also be a short somewhere in the circuit as well
-
As in and ECU? If so then yes.
-
DAMN!!!
-
Well ive gotta say that is one of the most interesting bagged rides i have seen :P
-
GT Auto Garage, newfarm... just on the northside of brissy. Hope that helps :D
-
anyone has good recommendation what garage shud i go to do some performance upgrade for my corolla seca AE92? was talking to Tuned Automotive quite some time ago about replacing with a half cut 4AGZE.. but now they r gone, i don't really know who to go to and to trust.. they did my pod filter replacement previously and it was quite a job hence i was interested to go back to them for the engine replacement. But sadly, they have ended their business. :(
Black Kluger (Euge)
I'll have to check with Greg (in the white Gen 2 Camry with the 3S-GTE) and see who he went too. They did an excellent job on his car.
-
Yeah well said Dan. Was a great day, thanks to the TOCAU guys who joined along. Sorry if we went to fast for the Kluger, i forgot that it had barely been run in ;) Was a long windy road, but that aside, i think it was damn well worth it in the end. Once again thank you very much to those who attended.
-
I was up there months ago and i swear i saw that...or one very similar, had a black Skyline pulled up
-
So far from this tank of 98 oct from United, i have gotten 330kms from 1/3 of a tank, mixed between town and highway driving.
-
At least 4... i think most of the brissy guys will be heading there
-
That would be these? I think they are called a Neo Wedge bulb in the states
This is the only link i have for them so far... http://autolumination.com/74.htm
EDIT: Just found this seller on ebay with them

Yeah they both run on the same circuit, i think from memory the valet/dome light is on that ciruit as well. I wouldnt take it to a Mechanic for that. If don't have much experience, might be wise to take it to an Auto Electrician. But as Rel said, most likely be in the stereo wiring.

Hey guys, it looks like im definitely in for the cruise up to o'reillys but i wanted to ask, does it matter if my car isnt modded or tuned yet?
cause my corolla is yet to be modded... STOCK AS A ROCK :P
Evo
Nope doesn't matter one bit. If you're driving a Toyota you are more than welcome. Count you in?
-
Over such a large surface it i will be tough to keep the bend in the shape that you want even if it can be bent. It is very likely that it will need supports behind it to give it structure. If you dont, there's a good chance, some idiot in a car park will most likely walk past and bump it and it will all bend out of shape.
-
So are you going to mesh over the top of the existing grille or discard it? I don't quite follow...
-
cheers for the comments! I'm doing a 3inch body drop so it will sit 3inches lower than the maroon and white one in the pic!!!
:o How the hell do u get lower than that. Its already sitting on the ground. :P Gotta love custom
-
sorry for this dumb posting but would like to know if this Sunday's run will be on extreme speeds or is it just a leisure cruise? I'm not realli ready to trash my car as yet as it has barely done 500kms.. lol..
All speed limits will be adhered too, if we deem anyone driving dangerously they will be asked to leave, it's only fair on the others (we dont want people thinking we are a bunch of car hoons now do we :P ). Most of us will be taking it easy-ish as we very few of us actually know the road up that way. And the idea is more to cruise as a group rather than being the first one to the post. :D
And yeah i'll bring my UHF's

Ok 8:30am Meet at Yatala BP Servo for the BRISBANE guys, should give everyone plenty of time to organise things and get to Nerang McDonalds, by 9:30. There SHOULD be some AUSCAM guys already there at 8:30.(They will be hard to miss)
For the GOLD COAST and surrounding areas people, Nerang McDonalds at 9:30 and hopefully we should all be there around the same time.
As for food and lunches, probably best to take your own sandwiches or whatever. There are BBQ's but it is unlikely that you will get one.

Timing Belt SDV10
in Camry Club
Posted
Prices can vary between $550-$700 depending if genuine parts are used but mine was aroun that mark as well, theres no point in doing the timing belt then two months later the water pump goes, labour is the killer so u might as well hit it on the head all at once
